well i work at chipotle but they don’t give me many hours. so i decided to look for another job. just got a job offer at the school. if i accept, Ill be getting a total of 23-26 hours per week combined which is what i was looking for. I know i can do it. At least i think i know since i have done that many hours before during school and still got A’s. What really gets me is that fact that they are separate schedules. one is morning and the other is after needs. Not sure if that is going to be a problems. Any suggestions?
If your class schedule doesn’t overlap and you can schedule ample study time, meals and rest, then you should be fine. You do what you have to do. And if you get a B now and then but are making it and getting your bills paid, you will be okay.
my suggestion is, take the job offer from your school so you won’t have a hard time transferring from one thing to another. another one is take a job or internship that might help you with your education/course. working at chipotle is not bad, but it is better to try working on the job that you have at least a basic knowledge about it. just my two cents.
If you’re good at managing your time then you’d have no problem with it. Just make sure, like what @NorthernMom61 said, you’re schedule doesn’t overlap. good luck!
that maybe a lot to handle. if you can afford it stick to one job (the one that pays you the most)
Here is the situation. I just got the schedule for the job at the school, but im tempted to not take it. Because both chipotle and the school give the schedule 2 days before the week starts, it will be hard to coordinate. I want to keep working at chipotle because it pays decent and and i get free food which helps too,but it is also very demanding and many times I get tired. I am also tempted to just leave chipotle and just go work at the school since the job is less demanding,but I would be getting paid 1.50 less. Any suggestions? and if I do decided to just stick to chipotle, how do I tell the school I can no longer work there when i have not even started. They know i have another part time job but i dont know how to tell them it wont work out.
