2 mins late

I sent my ED app 2 mins late to Haverford.
I want to cry.
am I screwed?

depends on the strength of your application. quite negative impression it makes, but i don't think you are automatically screwed.

it depends, i think
some schools are really rigourous on the time, but others don't bother to check on the weekends, so basically all applications that are there when they finally check on Monday are ok.

uh, there is the timestamp. schools will know if applications are late.

I think you are ok, they can't guarantee the internet will be instantaneous anyway, so there is usually some float.

I believe you will be OK too. If there is a legitimate reason, such as server unavailable or glitch in your home computer, I would send the admissions office an email explaining. If there was no specific reason, I still think that a 2 minute delay is within acceptable error.

Reminds me of my application to Oberlin. I was like 5 minutes late, and got rejected there. I am not sure if that was the reason, though.

Call or email them. You need to know whether the application is considered complete and timely for ED purposes.

You can also check your status online. If your application is processed as ED, you will be OK. If your application is considered RD, then call to explain your circumstance.

Hope this will help :)
