im applying to:

Duke
Dartmouth
Cornell
Emory
Colgate
Tufts
Brandeis (safety)
Penn State (safety)

4.0, 2280 SAT, 800 bio, 690 math II, good list of EC's, good essays, good recs, etc, etc.

I'm lookin for one or two more schools (reaches) that fit me, but im having trouble finding that one or two more.

I dont like cities. I like biology, but also like english, languages, and mostly all other subjects. size doesnt bother me, but i dont want a HUGE school. i dont care - lac or uni doesnt matter to me...

SO!

Any suggestions?

hopkins if u want to go into bio

see i dunno if im that hardcore about science/biology...also, isnt hopkins right in the city?

oh yeah, i skimmed over that u wanted ot be out of a city

If you're looking for a reach, try Yale. It seems like a good fit. Middlebury, Bowdoin, Wake Forest, Brown, Davidson, Amherst, etc. also might be worth looking into.

yeah i was thinking middlebury, but is their biology program strong?

i have to keep it open as an option, since i still dont know which way im going...and yale...isnt that city as well?

Yes, Yale is in New Haven, but the campus is fairly isolated (which is probably a good thing).

Middlebury has a very good biology and environmental science program. As a matter of fact, a couple of the grad students I work with at Duke (in a biology lab) went to Middlebury.

wow really? hmmmm....

yale might not be for me, but middlebury...

i currently work in a molecular biology lab (Fox Chase Cancer Center), and thats why its sorta important...but also the liberalness is important too...
