2 on AP ENVIRONMENTAL - Retake or Omit?

So basically, I got a 2 on my AP Environmental test due to the fact that I had so much other stuff going on in April and APES was the first test and I just didn't have enough time to study properly. I'm going to be a junior, and I'm already taking 3 APs this year along with one honors class. AP Lang/Comp, APUSH, AP Bio, and Honors Pre Calculus. Since I basically had to independent study last year, I figure I could do it again but I don't know if I should just omit it (you know how College Board decided to let you remove your score for like $15 or something) or actually retake it. Would it be worth it? Does it look worse if it looks like I just didn't take the AP test instead of failing but I got an A in the class both semesters?

Deleting your score is free. Retaking the exam is debatable; colleges generally don’t see APES as a challenging exam, not to mention AP scores aren’t that important in upper tier college admissions. Maybe take it again if money isn’t an issue and you’re sure you’ll get a 5?
