<p>If you are currently taking another year of biology, you might want to retake. 700 is kind of borderline retake for very competitive schools. </p>
<p>SAT II scores may be factored into an academic index by some schools. Your 5 in APUSH is excellent, but it may not be factored into a numeric synopsis of your grade. If you are more likely to score highly on the US SAT II, take that instead of a retake. Your 700 on bio is a respectable score, but it would be nice to have your three highest scores all over 700. BTW, are you a junior or a senior?</p>

<p>If you're talking about SAT II's, you can change the tests you take on test day - what you signed up for doesnt really matter. You can even add a test and the CB will send you the bill.</p>
<p>i dont think the score you get on the ap test really reflects your satII scores or visa versa. i knwo people who did better than me on the ap history test, but we got exactly the same score on the satII.</p>
<p>If you study for the U.S. History, you will be able to do better than a 700. The multiple choice is much easier than the AP mc. If you think you can review all of U.S. History in a week, go for it. I also received a 5 on the AP exam and got a 790 on the SAT II. It's absolutely not redundant. One is for college credit, the other is for college entrance. That's like saying that the Lit test and AP Lit is redundant.</p>
