2 weeks before 3 SAT Subject tests

My Maths II, Physics, and chemistry subject tests are just 2 weeks away. I have taken them before (with 3 weeks of preparation) in December and have gotten 620, 610, 580. This time I have started from 3 weeks back. Now my school is over, and have time to focus only on these three tests. I have read PR review book for physics and chemistry and Barrons's for Math II just like last time. I have even started looking over the Barron's for physics and chemistry, but the barron's seemed not as good as the PR material. I was doing the practice tests and seemed to be getting the same scores as the first time i wrote.

So,
to utilize these last 2 weeks for prep.to get 750+ in each subject, should I:
-look through PR material a lot?
-or look through barrons?
-or just practice all the practice tests which i find and review the answers?

bump…

You are planning to join NIT under DASA ryt? ;)

yeah exactly, so are u as well?

yup, I gave my SATs as well during my school and got score around that range. (1850). Well, now I am free and I bought Barron’s. So I am just going through it hoping to score 2200+ atleast.

After referring Princeton review the first time and getting less than expected, i bought the barron’s and saw that their material part (review) was not as good as the PR’s. what do you think about that? and also due to the limit being 1800 for DASA this year, do you think the border for getting into the top nits will increase tremendously? and if in case we still don’t get enough in May, will there be a chance to write the June, or is it out of reach?

Can anyone please brief me about how the counseling procedure works for the DASA scheme? Do you apply for a specific NIT or are you allowed to take a shot at any NIT your score merits? Also, do they give you an option to fill in 2nd preferences too in case you weren’t allotted your top choice? Thanks a bunch!

Hey guys even i am writing math, phy and chem for dasa! Have you guys finished 12th grade. I’m going to 12th so i still have more chances to write the tests. I think you need at least 2300+ to get into the top NITs, the top branch usually computer science and ece in the top NITs usually reuire 2360+ :)

yes that is correct you need 2300 and above for top NITs for CS etc.
Surathkal, Trichi, Warangal are normally in demand for CS
