So I was looking online a lot on how to become an EMT and am really interested in the "two week" course that some websites refer to. Its very intensive ~ 8-10 hrs a day, but I would like to do this course over my winter break.

However, I could not find any location to do so. I am located near UC Berkeley. If anybody has some info on the two week course or becoming an EMT while balancing school life that would be great.

Also something that is not very high cost is preferable, as I am already bogged down by loans.

I cannot help you with location, but typically, the cost for a class is free if you join a volunteer first aid organization. That's how it is in New Jersey, anyway.

Sometimes schools provide courses like that-- perhaps Berkley does? I'm signed up for such a course (3 weeks at 8 hours a day) provided through my school for this January.

$300 is really cheap for an EMT course. Most of the ones I've seen are upwards of $500 or $600.

I took an EMT class through my town's volunteer ambulance organization (for which I volunteer when I'm not at school) and I think it was between $300 and $350. Every other course I've seen is at least $500-$600.

The EMT course I'm taking is a $540 course, not including the $100 book+workbook needed for the course... fortunately there are grants for this course at my school, so it may end up costing some students nothing.

I really wish there was a course that short close to where I live. Beyond being at least a 4 month course (but not very intense) you have to be 18 to even be in the class.

I took an 8 week EMT course this past summer that was around 10 hours a week, but if I could do it again I'd definitely do the 2 week class. It's not that hard to pass and you save so much time by getting it done in just 2 weeks.
