one other school that should have a sub-20% accept rate will be W&L…~17% last year.

Berkeley’s acceptance rate is actually a little higher (26.6) than UCLA’s because they have Spring semester admits that were deferred from the Fall admission cycle and UCLA does not. The above mentioned number is for Fall admits only at Berkeley. http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/selecting/camp_profiles/camp_profiles_ucb.html

washington & lee: 17%

trackstar-- please provide a source. W&L’s number last year was 17%, but I have not found any official annoucements (as of last week) with their class of '13 admissions data.

kwu- good find, they must have updated that site recently. Those data are very reliable. Of note, the Harvard admit number is more precisely defined than above, as 7.3%. I like seeing the RD admit stats separated, too.

[Neal- note that a few of the Hernandez/EERA data are slightly different than reported above, like Stanford by 0.2%. I’d tend to believe the Hernandez/EERA data.]

it was on the washington & lee’s class of 2013 admitted students website. when i got my acceptance and prior to admitted students day, it was posted on go.wlu.edu/accepted (the website the admissions letter tells you to go to), but the page can no longer be accessed.

where was the rate for emory found?

The data for the incoming 2009 freshman class is not yet updated on the website. The profile for the incoming freshman class for 2008 has these numbers:

Papa: On the Hernandez site, it said “estimated” for some of the numbers… so I really am unsure how close of an estimate it really was.
