200 point boost in 2 weeks = possibility??

Okay, maybe 200 is WAY too much, but is it possible to increase your score by at least 150 points in 2 weeks?

if so, how?

I think it depends on what YOU can do, and what you do during those two weeks, and what your score is. I'm assuming you're taking the October SAT.

For example, I think improving my essay score can really help my writing score a lot. Knowing the predictable grammar errors also can help in the writing section.

lol. i sure hope i can do that.
but this depends heavily on u.
each person is different.

you can definitely do it. pick a good method and stick to it. practice it until you can answer questions with ease and certainty.

this isn't like cramming for a big final. this is like mastering a very specific set of relatively basic skills--it's just that the skills are different from the skills you need to do well in high school.

check out xiggi's method in the sticky post, and look around at some of the threads on specific practice items. look at the best and most efficient solutions to individual test items, and model those approaches on practice items.

oh--and you absolutely MUST use only real College Board questions if you want to make huge gains in a short time!

hang in there. way to aim high. good luck! :)

200 pts is easy to get on math/writing... cr will be harder

How do you elevate Cr score from 650-720+..any ideas.

1400 -> 1600 should be simple but 2200 -> 2400 is tough

tough to say for sure

xitammarg, I acknowledge why you insist on the CB practice tests but where shall I get that many practice tests from. Sure there are 8 from the BB and additionally 6 from the CB site; but thats it.
As a non-native speaker and international student, I DO HAVE TO practice a lot to reach the 2200 so I deemed that practice resources from Princeton Review for example seemed to provide good tests.
Don't know what to do...

Yay, well, since i guess this seems plausible, thank you all! i guess there's hope after all. (i'm just trying to break 2300. yes, high i know. im just trying to "sort of" make it up for my non-perfect gpa). =P
