Let me comment that the production of Merry Wives of Windsor was OUTSTANDING! Loved the show, loved the set and costumes. I’ve seen major city opera companies that could not put on a show this good.

mtpop,
What night were you there? I attended Saturday's performance and was very impressed (of course my D played Anna and that may have had something to do with it!) This is her 4th opera with OCU and they have all been outstanding.

We were there Friday and Saturday night. We REALLY, REALLY enjoyed your D's performance. As we discussed the show afterwards on Saturday, we commented on how beautifully she played the part. (I may be a little biased also, our S was in the show. In fact, he played your D's father!)

Thanks, MTpop. My D enjoyed the light-heartedness of the part....made it lots of fun to do (certainly different than one of those tragic operas!)
I understand your S was my D's father in Music Man, too! He did an excellent job.....what fun they all had. Kind of sad for me as my D graduates on May 5 so that was likely her last show at OCU. (She is going back in the fall to finish her VP degree but probably won't perform in any of the fall shows.)

MTPop, I met your son friday night! A really nice young man! Beautiful voice, and very mature for his age. You must be so proud. My S was in the ensemble, he played the bad singing drunk (and one of the large purple bugs!)
