When will the applications for regular decision for the fall of 2007 of most schools come out?

Probably July or August.

...was anyone else's first thought upon reading the title, "Oh, so someone has finally gotten worried enough to submit 2,007 applications. Are there even that many schools in the country?" :-P

most dont come out until the turn of the year. the end of a school's yr is usually June 30. try lookin after then.

The Common Application will be available in early July.

Most schools will be availbe around august from what I remember, and you can always start on the UCs whenever since its the same questions each year

Common app in July; a number on non-high ranked colleges are already out; others will come in August, Sep or October depending on school. just check sites of the ones you want to apply to occassionally during that time.

What's Common Application?

Yes, I am about to apply to college and I have no idea what that is.

It's okay...I din't know about WHILE I was applying for college. It's basically a common application that a lot of colleges use that makes it a lot easier to go apply for colleges. go to http://www.commonapp.org and check it out for yourself.

i already got harvards and gtowns in the mail...suprising caz i didnt request them but i guess im on their mailing list
it seemed a bit early o well....atleast i have em

D received Harvard's the other day as well. She had not requested it. All the advertized changes to the Common Application are there, including the disciplinary questions. One interesting thing was that Harvard listed all of the SAT test dates for 2006-2007, which interested us as we had been trying to find the sign up deadlines (so we could put them on D's college application calendar); they are not up yet on the College Board website.
