2008 AP Chemistry FRQS up on CB!!

i think a buffer is between a weak acid and its conjugate base....so i think the answer is no...since HCl is strong

I agree. Thanks!

Hey everyone! Does anyone want to talk privately about the AP Chemistry Exam? I have a few questions that might not be too wise to post on here... lol

if you want you can IM me.

How do I go about doing that? lol Is 5 p.m. central time okay for you? If not, I suppose you can pick a time. Thanks!

I think I got about 50% on the FRQ part. Does this put me on track for a 4?

Thanks for giving the answers...makes me feel a whole lot better.

I messed up some of the reactions, but most of those answers seem familiar, so I think I got some where in between a half and three fourths of the FRQs right. That's enough to pass, provided I did as well on the MC, right?

^^You need about 60% for a 5, and around 20% for a 3 I think?

How is the test graded with the composite scores, I can only find the old grading system? Using the old system, I would two thirds of each section, MC and FRQ, to get a 100 composite score, which is usually where they draw the line for the five.
