I'm still in shock about getting a 5. Honestly, I think some one at college board must like me. Definately a pleasant surprise, but I didn't think I was capable of doing above average after consistantly earning mediocre essay grades.

How it is possible for me to score a 5 on the Lang exam and a (expletive) 620 on the Sat 2 Lit exam is beyond me. I guess I assumed they would be very similar.

I received a 3, although this is highly misleading. English is by far my best subject; straight-A or A+ student the past 3 years. All of my other APs were 5s. Should I rescore Eng Lang? Do they only rescore the MC, not the FR?

Shocking because my AP English Lang teacher didn't even give us any essays to write until a month before the AP exams. Even then, we only wrote 3 essays at most.

I got a 4 and i thoguht i was going to get a 2. I seriously did nothing in class the whole year. English was basically my bs class where i relaxed and just didnt care(I hate english btw). Like i put more effort into health which my whole school has to take than english. I also didnt finish the multiple choice section but i do have to admit my essays kicked ass

I got a 3 :( But it was my last AP and I really had enough of it....funny thing though is that in class, we took two practice tests (got a 4 & 5) and my essays were amazing (avg. score an 8) - but AP exam was not my day...well, I'm content, considering that I thought I failed it -lmao

so, i got a 4. not much studying, and i failed various tests throughout the course (but ended up with a B, since the class got miraculously easier after the teacher went on maternity leave). the class put way too much emphasis on analyzing pride and prejudice and way not enough emphasis on actual language skills.
but apparently i have natural essay writing abilities with no effort (from my experience with SATs, state tests, and now this).
although i did try pretty hard on the MC. i can never predict how i do on those though. i swear. like a big SAT reading test. and i hate SAT reading.

I got a 5 - totally unexpected. By the way, practice tests for this test suck. Just suck. The MC reading passages were NOTHING like the tests. For future test takers: the passages are just slightly harder than SAT passages, and definitely not as archaic as some of those readings we had in class. I couldn't even get 60% on those.

Ahh I'm so happy, I never expected a 5...I didn't do any real studying on my own beforehand, but my teacher gave us tons of practice stuff in class, which I think really helped...I'm still shocked that I actually did that well though.

4 -- I could have taken the test at the end of junior year and gotten the same score. I love my English teacher and all, but.. really. Besides, I was ok with either a 4 or a 5 anyway.
