hey for those of you who did really well on the test (4 or 5), did you think you got the score after taking the test? i'm too scared to call and check my scores...^^

I thought I got a 2 after the exam but I really got a 5.

But then again my teacher was pretty tough on grading this year. She gave 6s to essays that Collegeboard would've probably given an 8 or 9.

Call!

I read over my essays after the test and cringed inwardly. I thought I got a 3 but somehow I got a 5!

CB is wierd. My teacher used to pass around 8 and 9 essays that were horrible; they really don't expect much in the way of original thought and writing style.

I was worried about my score, since I know that only a small percentage of students actually get 5's on the exam. However, I got a 5! So don't worry! Check!

Coming out I thought I got a 5 . . . then, I realized I ended one of my essays with a misquote and started to freak out:

What I put: " after all, 'foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of all mankind.' "

What it should have been: " after all, 'foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.' "

I checked today and I got a 5. What can I say, I'm a worrier. That's why my friends call be whiskers. [obscure SNL/Harry Caray reference]

Check your score! . . . or save 8 bucks! You can't go wrong!

I was expecting a 3...I got a 5. :D

Yeah you guys are right, some of CB's sample essays that were 8 or 9's weren't that good...as a matter of fact I thought the essays were holding back.

Anyways, I expected a 4 and I got a 3.

coming out i knew that i got a 5, and i did. :)

I blew my synthesis (strange, isn't it) and so I thought I'd get a 3 or 4. Got a 5.

i was predicting a 4, but i got a 5 :)

I was predicting a 3-4 BEFORE I took the test, but then the test was A LOT easier than any practice test I took so I expected the curve to suck and I thought I'd get a 4. I got a 5. :) I see a lot of people did. CONGRATS!

Thought I would get a 5. Reassured to get a 5.

To ny10804, your misquote made me laugh but I doubt the AP readers saw it anyway.

i thought i would get a 4, but i ended up w/ a 5. didn't really do a ton of prep for the test at all

I thought I'd get a 4 or 5 and managed to get the 5 :)

As expected,

U.S. History - 5
English Language - 4
Psychology - 5

i honestly thought i got a 3 after walking out of the english lang test, but i got a 5 too. the weirdest thing though, is that on all 4 practice tests that i took for english, i got 3's on EVERY one, and they weren't even that close to 4's, so i dunno how the **** i got a 5 on the real thing, especially considering that i know i ****ed up an essay (contradicted myself a little), missed at least 5 MC, and didnt' answer the last 4 cuz of time

eek, my score isnt available yet.

Collegeboard reports that 5.4 percent of those who take the AP English Lang & Comp test score a five...

woah! do yall think the curve was any easier this year? because it seems like a lot of us got 5s on our exams (me included). english lang is notorious for having the lowest percentage of 5s. hmm...

Yeah, it's the lowest of all the tests.
