2008 us news undergrad business rankings?

Carlson and Fisher are both top notch BSchools.

yeah, but Ohio State and Minnesota suck compared to Georgetown overall. Some of the top kids in Carlson and Fisher wouldn't even get into Georgetown.

Business Week rankings are more accurate in my opinion.

1 University of Pennsylvania (Wharton)
2 University of Virginia (McIntire)
3 UC Berkeley (Haas)
4 Emory University (Goizueta)
5 University of Michigan (Ross)
6 Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Sloan)
7 Notre Dame (Mendoza)
8 Brigham Young University (Marriott)
9 New York University (Stern)
10 Cornell University
11 Georgetown University (McDonough)
12 Villanova University
13 University of Texas at Austin (McCombs)
14 Boston College (Carroll)
15 UNC at Chapel Hill (Kenan-Flagler)
16 Washington University (Olin)
17 Wake Forest University (Calloway)

Ohio State and Minnesota suck

This coming from someone in Ann Arbor...how surprising.

Ohio State sucks so much that I wouldn't go there even if I had a full ride.

Go Blue! :)

BW rankings are just as bad; Emory is better than MIT? laughable.

The fact that Notre Dame, and BYU are muttered in the same breath as Ross, Haas, and Stern is equally ridiculous.

is WashU Olin good? I really like them and I really want to go there. I know they are known for not having the best career placement stats, but these past years they've gotten significantly better at recruiting big companies.

^ Yes, it's good...but, overpriced IMO.

Although, I do hear they give good merit aid.

Price is not the biggest concern to me though, but I would think Ross is overpriced (even though I know I can't get in) because I'm OOS.

UIUC is a good choice. My cousin went to UIUC and loved it. She was an architecture major from CA (my uncle was originally from Chicago)...UIUC is tough to beat for reputation and cost.

I've visited UIUC, and it's a great school in all, especially with an amazing accounting program which I like a lot; however, It's too big of a school for me and I know that at least one hundred people from my high school that are probably going to go there. I want to meet a lot of new people, and at a smaller school.

My friend is at IU right now and he loves it. He was majoring in Business, but he had to drop the major because he did terrible in his accounting class (really hard class for weeding out people) and switched to Informatics.

^ IU is also great. I heard it's a beautiful campus. I think it's cheaper for OOS students than Michigan.

I'm a junior riht now and I'm putting a lot more research into WashU specifically because I really like my accounting class in my high school and I plan to major in Accoutning and/or Finance. I'm a legacy at both IU and WashU and I'm think I might apply ED to Olin next year.

^ Well there you go...good luck. :)

IU has an amazing campus!, the only problem I have with it is that it's absolutely humongous and it's extremely hilly. It's similar to Cornell's hilly campus. And it's a hell of a lot cheaper than Michigan for OOS.

thanks! :)

I think the list shoud look more like this....people will probably disagree.
