2009 AP Psychology Discussion Thread

Ahahah that would have been false-proof if you didn’t write “judgement”. The reticular formation controls judgment, not the cerebellum so you kind of contradicted yourself there.

MC Raw Score Estimate: 80-90
Essay Score: 10-11/14 -> 35.7 - 39.27 (recalculated out of 50)

Composite: 115.70 - 129.27 –> That is definitely a 5 my friend. ^^

@sAxsKy

MC 70
FR 13/14 –> 46.41

Composite: 116.41 –> Yep, it’s a 5! :-)

I thought adding something incorrect wont take off points… you get points, not lose them!

sAxsKy:
quick perusal of barron’s defines standard deviation as square root of variance.
since the question said S.D. is 25, that cant be right.
and wasnt A) variance of 5?
and arent we not allowed to discuss MC?

I believe the answer was that you conclude the median to be 150 ?

What were the human factors for this?

Oh my… that definitely wasn’t what I put. And wasn’t in my Barrons or class textbook either, lol.

yeah, my teacher had a fit over that one XD

hi guys. I self studied for the AP psychology in 2 days so I didn’t practice any essays.
On the AP exam I didn’t write my answers in a continuous essay form. I actually wrote a paragraph on each of the bullet points they wanted discussed. Is this a serious fault?

I’M ALL PANICKY ABOUT THIS!! Wondering if I should cancel my score…

no problem at all.
no intro, conclusion, or clear essay format required.
just straight, hard facts.

oeij, that’s the way you’re supposed to do it. They just want answers.

So, I was atleast hoping to get 3 to the least. And guess what, I called the early report service and I got 4…so HAPPY and exciting.

score unavailable =[

since you guys all took AP Psych. Would you suggest self studying it? what books are the best? Textbooks? or like Barrons?
