2009 AP Psychology Discussion Thread

What do you guys think? I though MC was pretty easy, but FRQ was kind of tricky :</p>

Really? I thought the MC was kind of tricky sometimes (blank 5ish and was unsure on about 8-10). The FRQ was really easy except for one term I didn’t know.

I answered all of the MC, and only had to guess on 1 subset in the FRQ! I’m expecting a high 5. The Princeton review book really helped.

I used barron’s and I thought it covered just about everything on the test.

Barron’s really did cover everything.

I just couldn’t remember one or two subsections (which of course I now remember everything about). MC wasnt bad at all.

Easiest test.

so ridiculously easy that i’m worried i won’t get a 5 'cause the curve will be brutal!

I don’t think that test is curvable…

That test was soooo easy. The essay was a JOKE!

First essay was cake, second, not so much.

It’s either you knew it or you didn’t for both FRQ’s so if you studied, then all the more power to you. The test itself was fair but maybe too fair.

really? i thought that i could have figured out most of the terms on the FRQs even if i’d never heard them in the class

Barron’s did a nice job covering mostly everything, unlike PR+SmartyPants which failed to cover even some of the most basic topics on ES…

On the FRQs I thought I was running out of time (the proctor wrote the 10 minute warning time on the board instead of the final end time!!!) so I started scribbling down almost indecipherable handwriting; hopefully the readers can read it :/

so wait, are we allowed to discuss general topics on the test and not mention the test questions, or is it like we can’t discuss anything whatsoever for 48 hours?

FR was ridiculously easy. MC wasn’t bad but harder than past exams. There was a couple I didn’t know. W/e, definite 5.

I skipped 8 :(

I think it’s nothing for 48 hours.

I thought the test was a joke. I didn’t omit any questions, and I only had to make an educated guess on about 10.

FR was really easy too. I only had to guess about one topic and after the test I checked my PR book and saw that I got it right.

I’m expecting a high 5.

I know I got at least -2 on FRQ, only like -4 on MC, so still a mid 5.

what’s the curve normally for this test? i thought generally you could miss like 10 questions or something on the MC and do relatively well on the frq and get a five?

It’s much more lenient than that, you can miss 15+ questions on MC and still get a 5
