Try humble yourself before all those who absolutely Need Financial Aid.
At 399 posts, you oughta know your odds.

You can look into merit scholarships* and private scholarships. Do not apply for any ones that are need aware.

*Depending on the schools you are applying to and your stats you could be eligible for merit based scholarships.

There is a big difference between the amount of aid a family needs and what they want. Given your parents income and the schools that you looking to attend, the colleges will determine that you do not need any FA. Since you already know your grades and stats, you probably won't get much as far as merit either.

Then it looks like your parents are going to have to pull out their check books.

If you are really are concerned about your parent's money, I would suggest that you attend your state university and possibly live at home. You can also get a job to help defray some of the expenses.

well, im not exactly talking about NEED aid.. but u know, supplements...

so it looks like im gonna have an essay writing festival sometime in the near future...

Get a job?

Reminds me of Maynrd G Krebbs in the old Dobie Gillis series. Work!?! :)
