DBQ was okay… Overall the test was pretty easy I’d say.

i thought the dbq and frq went really well, its the multiple choice i’m worried about. How many can you miss and still get a five?

[AP Pass - AP Test Calculators, Study Guides, and Resources](<a href=“AP Pass - AP Score Calculators, Study Guides, and Resources”>AP Pass - AP Score Calculators, Study Guides, and Resources)

It’s a score calculator that claims that it’s “legit.” (You’ll understand when you visit the site… :P)

Lol Sciencefrenchie

The DBQ was very hard in general. Analyzing the documents was fine, but outside information was just impossible for me. It was so far back. Since 1998 there hasn’t been a DBQ that was even in that same century. There’s been FRQ’s that far back, but never DBQ.

okayy heres my take.
the MC was fairly easy.

the dbq–when i first looked at it i was like “■■■■!” i was expecting something sooo different. it came out of nowhere.

frqs-- part C–the two choices WTH! i managed to get about 2 pages out of the one i wrote about…but still…eh…

hoping for a 4 or 5

Lol frenchie, I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not :. I just used that calculator like 30 mins ago and I thought it was real… is it?

@Alleviate

I’m not really sure. It looks decent, but you never know with the internet these days… I would say it gives you a general idea, but don’t swear by it. (I wish we could though–I’d be worrying a lot less!!)

OMG can someone please tell me why i am so sad this is over? :(

I LOVED the multiple choice section. I think I’m the only one haha. I think I got 70 right 10 wrong at worst. I don’t know about the essays though. By the last frq I was like “my hand hurts. I’ll just bs this.”

hahaha, yes it’s real, I just saw someone ask if it was legitimate on yahoo answers and thought’d be funny to post it If humor is not appropriate, I can remove it for you :p

All the calculators are based on previous year’s actual AP tests’ grading curves, so they are as accurate as possible

I think I did REALLY well on the DBQ. I used like all the documents, and had outside information.

strawbearries- Me too! That’s exactly what I was saying- I missed like 10 at the most. I may have gotten 75/80. Crash Course is the best

I think I might have mentioned some stuff in the DBQ that was a bit… beyond the time period. I’m certain that at least one thing I mentioned happened earlier than the time period.

For the third essay I didn’t really… say much. Like there were a lot of specific examples that I could have given that I just… didn’t mention. I think I did well answering the question and addressing the complexity and stuff, but I’m worried that my lack of specific examples will be harmful.

@frenchie

Yea, I guess it does give an idea. I mean 50% on the MC and straight 5’s gives you a 3… so :P. What do you think I’d get on the Question 4 if I wrote 2.5 pages, included substantial outside info, but also included like 3 facts that weren’t supposed to be there :(. I’d give myself a 6 but idk if those 3 facts hurt the score?

@strawbearries You aren’t the only one that loved the multiple choice section, it’s the easiest multiple choice I’ve taken all year! Not sure I got quite that high of a score though. Didn’t like the last FRQ at all though, but I think I BS’d a 3 or 4 out of it :/

sciencefrenchi and alleviate: I was wondering the same thing! I had already looked there but I wasn’t sure because it says you can get 43 right on the mc, and a 4 on every essay and still get a 4…idk if I am overestimating how they score on the essays but this seems weird/very easy to pass the exam if it is actually the case

Haha no I just didn’t know if it was sarcasm or not or if it was just a cheap site trying to pose as a legitimate one… Thanks for clearing that up!

@amyyyy: I didn’t use specific examples either… Whoops.

I didn’t think MC was all that bad…definitely a couple ones I had no clue and skipped, and then I made educated guesses on 8 or so of them, and probably got a few others wrong, just because I always do.

LOVED the dbq…definitely was expecting a different era but was very pleasantly surprised.

@pba2011

43 right and all 4s. I don’t think thats a 4. Probably a 3 since the DBQ is weighted a more than the other FRQs
