2011 Predict your AP scores thread!

From AP: We’re on track right now for late afternoon on 6/30, but at latest #APExamScores by Phone will be available on 7/1.

^Nice work. You should be proud.

In a Great World:
Psych: 5
English Lang: 5
World: 5
Chem: 3

Good World:
Psych: 5
English: 5
World: 5
Chem: 2

Realistic but Kinda Good World:
Psych: 5
English: 5
World:4
Chem: 2

Realistic but kinda bad:
Psych: 5
English: 4
World: 3
Chem: 2

And a completely horrible world would be getting no 5’s. I got a 5 on gov last year so i guess anything that would qualify me for ap scholar won’t be too horrible.

Prediction:

Chem: 5
Stat: 5
US Gov: 3
Micro: 3
Macro: 2

Calculus BC - 5
Microeconomics - 4 or 5
English Language - 4 or 5
United States History - 2, 3, or 4

Bio- 5
Chem - 5
Eng lang- 4
Micro- 4
Macro- 4

Hoping for:

Calc AB: 5
Music Theory: 5
US History: 5

Expecting:

Calc AB: 5
Music Theory: 4
US History: 4

Expecting World: 5

How can you guys predict 5s for AP Chem? I got an 800SATII Chem, and qualified for USNCO, and I still found it hard as balls. Hopefully I got a 5…

^lolzz hard as balls is my phrase.

I’m pretty sure I’ll get a 5 on chem. My teacher did the FRQ’s and according to his answers I got an 88%. I’m pretty I missed no more than two or three on the MC, which would only be stupid mistakes

I self studied it, but I did find the MC very easy… almost too easy

AP Calculus BC: 5
AP Literature: 4 (I will be so mad at myself if it is a 3! I worked to hard in that class lol)
AP Biology: 3/4

I heard AP biology is being revamped next year. Do you think it will be easier or harder?

Much easier.

^The new exam starts May 2013, so it’s being revamped next next year. From what I can tell at [AP® Courses Revisions and Changes - Advances in AP | The College Board](<a href=“About AP – AP Central | College Board”>http://advancesinap.collegeboard.org/), it will be harder for those who are better memorizers and easier for those who are better reasoners/critical thinkers.

Calc BC: 5
English Language: 3, hoping for 4 though
Physics: 5

I was really good at chemistry (made USNCO, 800 SATII), so this new Biology curriculum is screwing me over.

Goodness, it is rather disconcerting how confident some people on this thread are about their scores… I think I bombed my late AP Chemistry test. Well, the FRQs were mediocre, the MCs were awful. Hoping for a 5, but a 4 is definitely in the ballpark.

This year’s Bio already felt like it placed a lower emphasis on memorization. A lot of the questions that seemed to stress critical thinking ended up being common sense. To me, hard questions are random facts that you can’t remember (like taxonomy) and have no shot at answering.
