excellent essay

Made my ucla account two days ago but keep getting automatically signed out so i cant view any info. Cant see housing or financial aid. Its probably cuz i made it too late that i never saw anything before they shut us all down

That was solely based on the fact that not ONE person thus far who submitted a fafsa on here can’t see fin. aid. However I know nothing obviously…

yea, but for the people who see “housing application not available yet” it seems like their stats are good enough for them to get in, and for those who get the “unsure of enrollment status” it seems like they are not as competitive for their majors. Does anyone agree with what i’m saying?

Philosophy major ~3.8 GPA. No TAP, but IGETC complete after Spring

1) Didn’t submit financial aid
2) MyUCLA went from summer sessions student to philosophy major unknown session, but is now white bar, which i heard is fine.
3) Housing status says “Applications for fall not available”
4) Got the email for transfer alumni.

BTW are those alumni scholarships worth doing for or are they ridiculously hard to get, as in only a few of the people who got the email will actually get them?

3.9 (UC gpa may be different b/c I attend OOS university)
Psychobiology
Good Essays i think
Lots of work with underprivileged children, harvard lab work, volunteer in hospital emergency department
Received Regents Invitation, but not CC scholarship invitation

1) Can see Fin Aid + Doc tracking
2) Cannot log onto myUCLA
3) Cannot Access Housing

@la4ever09 I do not.
There are competitive applicants for both status as well as those less competitive applicants. There are people with “No” ECs and people who claim themselves having “Great Essays.” It is really hard to judge based on these subjective terms. I would say this is really random.

@la4ever09
I guess you’re correct. Those who had a ridiculously high GPA for the impacted majors (engineering etc) had “unsure of enrollment status” while those who had a solid gpa for the non-impacted ones had “not yet available”.

And I saw someone in this thread who is majoring in Poli sci (Impacted, I think. People who get accepted to UCLA as a poli sci major are assigned to the Pre-Poli sci major, which is indicative of impaction) who had a 3.6-3.7ish GPA. That person has the “unsure of enrollment” message.

And there’s a math major (non-impacted) with a very solid GPA who didn’t finish IGETC (which I think is a huge chunk of transfer criteria) who had unsure of enrollment.

Then again, it’s “unsure of enrollment status”, which means UCLA is still isn’t sure. But I sure hope those who had “application not yet available” are basically in!!

@laypk123- if you look at the gpa’s for everyone who sees the unsure of enrollment status message, their gpas are below the average admit for their majors. One person on this thread has a 4.0 but they are an international applicant, and i know acceptance rates for them are much lower. I’m just trying to connect the dots…

i can see my financial aid so r we all assuming the people that can see it are in? mine also says “on campus housing completed” whatever that means…
