<p>just my guess. people who see “application unavailable” for their housing are those who have accessed the application before when it was open for some hours. i didnt, so i see the message “unsure of your enrollment” instead.</p>
<p>i wouldnt worry cuz i think im competetive for my major though engineering is hard to get in. i finshed all my prereqs except one by last fall. major gpa 4.0. overall 3.86. one B in guitar, one C in businees information class. one thing im worried is i dont have any major related ECs.</p>

3.5 GPA in my current CC (LAVC), 3.0 in my previous 4-yr university.
No TAP, IGETC not done, only missing English.
I’m not going to rate my own essay, I just talked about how I hated my previous university and made the decision to leave the school to take the risk getting into UCLA through CC.
The only EC/experience I have is a 8-month long internship as a visual designer.</p>
<p>I have been invited to the UCLA Arts Open House 2 weeks ago, they told me I’m most likely getting in. Now I’m optimistically waiting for the official decision =)
If I’m trying to get in as L&S majors, I’m most likely getting rejected straight away with stats like this. The Arts programs puts primary consideration on applicants portfolio, but I don’t think my portfolio is all that fancy or killer quality, I think my internship and me as an international student gave me an upper hand.
It’s quite bizarre, I didn’t think I could at least get an open house invite, considering how incredibly low the program’s acceptance rate is.</p>
