They just might not have processed yours yet.

@victor5555

hey just wondering, what did they ask you for when they called/mailed, how your classes this semester were going?

I mean, how do they process EVERYONE else on CC but mine…just seems weird.

spacebaklava, unfortunately when they called I did not attend to my cellphone. So the girl just left a message. However, neither the email nor the phone message mentioned anything about my courses this semester.

my housing still says “unsure of enrollment” guess im rejected.

victor5555, ok because i got an e-mail from ucsd and they asked me for my “progress” in statistics (my grade!) i’m just wondering what the people who got calls/emails from ucla were in regards to?

I got an email from ucla back in Feb asking me why there was a three year gap in my academic history…

I think that the recent call was about a scholarship

Oh, the email/call had nothing to do with admissions, just the scholarship committee

Trying to bring this back to the thread…

GPA: 3.5
Major: Women’s Studies
ECs: Worked part time jobs through most of my CC time.
Essays: eh, mediocre but not bad.

I can view all of my financial aid stuff

Can’t log into myucla

Housing apps unavailable, but lets me view my “account balance”.

i see, @ideal2545 that’s the same mail i got from ucsd 2 weeks back. the thing is, i thought i had NO chance of getting into ucsd with a 3.56 (poly sci) because of the whole tag thing (i’m currently cc’ing in mass.) so i’ll be really surprised if i even get in there. ucla would be amazing but i got into the game a little too late: i listed all prereq’s for this summer, so i doubt i have a chance. time will tell.

@ideal2545: did you mention in your application why you have a gap in your academic?
Are you sure they emailed you on February? I am concerning as I got an email from UCLA too and I want to know if it’s same for you and me? I got email not in February though.

GPA : 3.5
Major: Philosophy
Tap certified, IGETC done.
3/4 prereqs done, 4/4 by springs end.

Can see financial aid.
Didnt check Myucla
"Application for 2011 housing unavailable

sooo… whats this mean?

Hey Ben it doesnt say we are unsure of your enrollment status right?

@ addyamaaa Yeah I got it on Feb 7th. I did not really refer to the gap in my academic history specifically, I just mentioned how my personal hardships made it hard to go to school so I stopped (after getting like 5 F’s and 5 W’s!). I actually thought it was odd that they asked since it was “sorta-kinda” in my essays.

@spacebaklava - Yeah, I would be surprised if I got into UCLA, i mentioned above I really do have like 5 F’s and 5/6 W’s on my transcript, I did retake all of my F’s and got A’s and managed to my gpa out of 1.8’s to 3.83 - but those F’s stay on your transcript even if you retake the courses. I only have a slight glimmer of hope because of the URSA stuff that I can see, but its so up in the air right now.

Major: Political Science
IGETC: Yes
TAP: No
All but 1 prereq done, 4.0 in major
Cannot see finaid/ doc tracking in URSA, myUCLA says summer session, can’t access housing.

I’ve basically given up hope in UCLA, don’t think its gonna happen. Which is fine; I’ve been set on Cal, anyway, and UCSD is a fine back-up for me. But we’ll see tomorrow, I guess…

^when you try to access housing does it say “fall 2011 applications not available yet” or “we are unsure of your enrollment status”

Ok, i just checked everything again and i get the following

Housing application: unsure of enrollment
MyUCLA: Can log on
Able to create UCLA email address
FA/Doc Tracking - Nothing

Any idea what this means?

@la4ever it says unsure of enrollment status :(
