There was a previous thread about the 2012 Acceptance Day date and schedule of activities. However, I can’t find it. Could someone, once again, please list the date, time of parade and the amount of free time a 4 degree will have after the ceremony/parade? Thanks.

I don't know for sure, but I think it's the 6th of August, not sure what time, and the new 4-digs will have about 2 hours of "free time" during which parents can see them. That's the way it was last year.

Um, I'm pretty sure Field Day for you guys is supposed to be 12 July 08...although I'm sure you guys would love having it that early!

Thanks, Falcons'11. I just copied it from a much earlier thread and should have checked it better. I'm sure you are correct the Field Day should be July 12. Thanks also for all the wonderful insights during the 2nd CC Orientation dinner. You were so helpful!

No problem...I enjoyed getting to talk to a bunch of the parents and share some of my experiences and humble opinions.

Can someone tell me what time of day the Acceptance Day parade generally occurs?

Do you guys have Sundays, all day, off from BCT activities? As a new 2012-er or as upperclass?

What, specifically pertaining to upperclass and time off while 2012 is at Doolie Day Out? What about the other Sundays? What do you do?

Magdad- The parade is in the morning around 9 am. Then you will be able to spend like 2 hours with your 4 Dig. BJ10MOM- during BCT the 2012 will not have off at all on Sundays except to go to church or an hour of personal time. Other then that they are bust the whole time. 7 days a week till the end of Beast!!!! During the Ac yr they have off every Sunday and Saturday's if it isn't a silver weekend.

as for cadre during beast, they work on rotating schedules, so they'll work some days on, some off depening on position and squadron/flight. 2nd beast cadre still "babysit" the basics after the wing has returned but before the acceptance parade

Thanks navy81 and eagle. I never knew how it all worked with BCT as far as who was off, and when, and I needed that information for planning an event this summer. I never knew the answer as it was never a topic of discussion - pertaining to the details anyway. So, thanks again!
