2012 AP Test Results Thread

Apush 4 :)

I thought for sure I was going to get a 2.

junior year (2012):
calc bc-5 (5 ab subscore)
chem-5 (thought 4 was a possibility so i’m thrilled right now :))
lang-4
us-4 (sdfglwertuheoqlewkjrhairhu i was going for a 5…)

soph year:
bio-4 (fu**)
world-4

frosh:
apes-2 (ahahahahahah x) i consider it a fun memory/experience. whatever, whateverr.)

was gonna wait for the mail but my dad told me to call. pleased overall except apush…but pleased overall :)

English Lit-4 (I was expecting a 5 since I was the best student in that class, but I was also the slacker and goofball haha. I’m still content with a 4 though.)

Calculus AB-4 (I was expecting a 2 or 3 since I messed up on both calculator parts pretty badly. I guess the curve/scale was extremely generous.)

Macroeconomics-5 (Easiest class I had. No doubt I hot a 5. I think I might become an economist/businessman instead of an engineer…)

Physics B-3 (1st year AP Physics B teacher. I was one of the top 4 students in the class, so I kind of expected a 3 or maybe a 4, but it appears the latter did not occur. I’m satisfied with a 3 though… But I need to know what the other 3 got…)

I got a 4 on English lang, and 5s on APUSH and Spanish lang junior year. I guess that leaves me with the best record in my school’s recent history. 3 5s, 3 4s, and 1 3. If I claim the credits I am going to use, I can be a sophomore already xD

Lol I’m so Asian I don’t even want to spend 8 bucks in anticipation of my scores. Anyhow, nothing makes me lol more than seeing you people rant about getting 4’s.

AP US History-4; Aw. I’m not all that great with history, but I did a lot of prep for this test. Oh, well.

AP Chem-5; SO happy about this one since I thought it was the hardest test I took. I’m still giggling just thinking about it.

AP Eng Lang-4; NO, I really wanted a 5. :(((

How does the AP scholar with distinction work? Can you have no 2’s at ALL? Like What if you took like 5 exams , and got 4 4’s and one 2.

Directly from the College Board website:
“Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.”

If you took 5 exams, you can’t have any 2’s, unfortunately. :(

US History 5
Chemistry 5
English Language 4 :frowning:
Calculus BC 5
Spanish Langauge 4:(
World History 4 :(

English Literature and Composition - 5
US Government and Politics - 5
Macroeconomics - 5
Statistics - 5
Physics C: Mechanics - 5

Senior year AP scores. I’m content with them, but I should’ve self-studied Physics C: E&M and Microeconomics. Oh well.

APUSH - 5 ( This was expected because, honestly, this MC was easier than any and every MC our teacher gave us. And the essays… the essays were AMAZING! I TOTALLY called that DBQ! )

AP Lang - 5 ( This was not expected… at all. I really screwed up on one of the essays. I think the MC saved me… and the synthesis. )

So yeah I only took 2 APs this year, but I am happy. Congrats to everyone for their outstanding scores!

AP Biology: 5
AP World History: 5

Both exams went really well, and I’m glad my scores reflected it!

@DavidTheNerd: Yo man, stop being a looser. Mind ur own bizness and stop trolling. We all know that your a ■■■■■. trololololololololololololololololol…

AP Lang: 5! Not native speaker, independent and well I’m really happy
AP Italian: 5! Again, not a native speaker, independent , I learned language since I was 10 outside school. I can now hereby state that I can speak Italian haha

I think those scores are really good, and also they are very different tests, demonstrating that you are well rounded! Good luck

I had the same issue with a language AP, with AP italian! There was almost nothing to practice with! Anyway I got a 5’ congratsss

Got 5’s on apush, lang, psych, human geo, and stats. 4 on chem. very happy! :)

and just wondering, do we have to send official ap reports to all of the colleges we are applying to? I know we have to send sat/act, but what about ap? thanks!

AP Spanish- 5 (Non-Native Speaker)
AP US History- 4 (Didn’t read enough  )
AP Biology- 4 (Very happy with!)
AP English Language- 4 (New teacher, expected a 3)

Previously:
AP World History- 4

Very pleased with myself! Hopefully I’ll be able to get similar results in the next couple of years.

My first AP scores! (Rising Senior)

AP U.S. History - 5
~ Decent teacher. Worked my butt off (read all 1000 pages of textbook and took notes haha). Crash Course. Seriously thought the exam was way too easier than practice exams from past years.

AP Calculus AB - 5
~ Amazing teacher. I could’ve easily scored a 5 w/o even studying from other prep books. I guessed on several multiple choice questions, but overall everything went smoothly.

AP Physics B - 5
~ Semi-self-studied. My Physics Honors teacher suggested I self-study for the B exam because physics is a freshman course at my school (moved sophomore year). I studied from his class lecture videos. Quite an interesting experience. I read through the entire Crash Course the day before the exam. I thought the exam was really hard though. Multiple Choice questions had way too many Electricity/Magnetism questions that I had to guess on. I would’ve been happy with a 3. I almost flipped out when I heard my scores!
