averageguy: I’m just saying that this is why people don’t like people. Some people work their butts off to get a 2, and you’re over here crying because you got a 4 (even if your college offers credit for a 3 or doesn’t offer credit at all). You make the people that can’t test as well as you feel like crap.

Stop acting like it’s the worst thing in the world. You deserved it. It’s what YOU did.

Now, if CB lost your essays or it was their mistake, then that’s different.

Also, there’s a difference between “man, I got a 2” and “kill me now, I got a 4.” I’d be fine hearing “It’s too bad I got a 4, because my college only gives credit for 5s.”

Will receiving a 2 on AP Bio affect my chances to top schools such as Columbia? I wasn’t really expecting an awesome score since I didn’t have any time to study with my busy schedule. I got a 760 on my SAT II Bio test. What would colleges think with the discrepency between a 2 on the AP test and a 760 on the subject test?

4 APUSH (Kinda proud because I had a bad teacher)
4 English LAnguage (kinda proud because this was this teacher first ever AP class)
5 Chemistry (This is unheard of at my school where the average is a 1)

Calc BC - 5 (AB 5)
Biology - 5
US History - 5
English Literature - 5
English Language - 5
French - 5 (was not at all sure what to expect with French and the new format :P)

@karatekid: Oh okay, hopefully my teacher will be good. I’m not that great on the CR portion of the SAT, that’s why I am worried… I think that by taking AP English Lang, my writing and critical reading scores will improve on the SAT.

DavidTheNerd, it’s not their responsibly to factor in the emotions of those who did not score as well. It’s not their problem. It is too bad that those who got 2s did not see their hard work pay off. However, their scores were rightfully deserved. Should anyone disappointed or angered by their scores not express it? Passing or not, disappointment is disappointment. Yes, it is annoying when they express it in a whiny fashion, but you’re not coming off much better by attacking them.

Chemistry - 4
Calculus AB - 4
US History - 4

^^I’m a little upset over these cuz I really thought I had a shot at getting 5s

Spanish Lit - 5
english Lang - 5

^^Pleasantly surprised. I expected to get 4s on these.

Biology - 2

^^ exactly vvhat I expected. I didn’t take the class and barely self-studied. that’s fine though cuz I’m taking the class next year so I can still raise my score

US History 5 - Had a great teacher, loved the class, expected a 5
Psychology 5 - Easy class, easy test, but didn’t study much, expected a 4-5
Eng Lang 4 - Average teacher, I wasn’t sure about the test, expected a 3-4

*Calculus AB - 4 (My teacher prepared us well, so I expected a 4-5)
*Chemistry - 3 (The class was really hard, but I thought the test wasn’t so bad. I expected a 3-4)
*European History - 4 (The class was too easy, and about 95% of people fail it at my school. I honestly expected a 2-3)
*US History - 4 (Took this last year)

Considering the circumstances, I’m pleased with the outcome. I’m hoping to get some 5’s next year though!!

AP German Lang & Cult - (3) I really worked hard for this test. I consider myself an intermediate speaker at German, so I guess this really reflects on it. I KNOW that if it wasn’t for the Presentation and the Listening Portion, I COULD HAVE done better. But yea, a 3 is a 3.

AP Spanish Lang - (3) I am a native speaker, and all my friends that took it got either 3s, 4s, or 5s. I honestly thought I would get a 5, but ehh. I do not know s*** on how to write, so yea. My writing SUCKED, but my speaking worked it. The listening portion was kind of hard. >__< But yea, considering I don’t know squat about writing, I am happy with it. :)

AP Chemistry - (3) I kept getting 44s on practice test on the multiple-choice, but bad scores on the Free-Response, so it’s whatever. I thought I would get a 4, but eh. I know that I bombed FRQ 1-3, but I r**** FRQ 4-6, so that probably contributed to my score. I was lazy in this class until 2nd semester, so I think what I got is truly what I deserve.

I didn’t get 4s or 5s this year, but I am satisfied. I got bored, so I decided to check them just for the heck of it, and I can’t say that I wanted more. I know this summer is going to be bomb now!

Physics C: Mechanics: 5 (self studied)
Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism: 5 (self studied)
Chemistry: 3 did not try at all the whole year, finished with a 79. Effort plummeted after getting accepted to college
Calculus BC: 5
Microeconomics: 4 (see chemistry comment)
Macroeconomics: 3 (See chemistry comment)
English literature: 4

All in all, I’m satisfied as my scores in economics and chemistry reflect my grades in the classes. I really cared most about the physics (:D) and calculus scores though

Biology (5): I’m really shocked about this one LOL. Although I had studied extensively, I self-studied and felt direly unprepared after I took the exam. I left two parts of the FRQ blank, and starred at least 30% of the MC. The biology exam must have had a really generous curve because I had was pretty sure that I got a 4…

World History (5): I thought the test was extremely easy… this is coming from someone who doesn’t know much about history (or geography, or current events…) in general. To say I was inadequately prepared would be an understatement. The test was mainly passage based, so I felt like I was analyzing more than searching my brain for facts and dates. The FRQ questions were also based on common sense more than anything else, so yeah… After I saw the 2012 AP score distributions for the exam though, I freaked out. Only ~7% of the people who took the exam got 5’s apparently, and that got me really worried. o___o

Psychology (5): The multiple choice was really easy. I self-studied using Barron’s, and only a few questions on the test dealt with terms I’d never seen in my study guide. I finished the MC in about 20-30 minutes and had plenty of time to double check (and triple check) my answers. I think I got 96% of the MC correct. The FRQ was a nightmare though. I couldn’t remember half of the things that the question asked about, so I basically rambled for 5 pages. I did try guessing the meaning of the term, but I was really inaccurate. Thank goodness the FRQ are only worth 33% of the test LOL.

Calculus AB: 4 (I screwed up the free response; but I’m happy regardless)
Spanish Lang: 4 (Not a native speaker; plus I just suck at spanish)
US History: 5
English Lang: 5
Environmental Sci: 5

I’m pretty happy with these scores, they were basically what I was expecting. National AP Scholar!

English Lit - 5 (easy as *)
Euro - 5 (easy as *, drew pictures for the last essay)
Bio - 5
Art - 3 (hard, took a joke class, but still passed)

AP Lit: 5, I thought I got a 4 on it, which isn’t bad, but I’d prefer a 5 :P.
AP US History: 5, absolutely no doubts that I got a 5.
AP Comp Gov: 4, I did well on the MC/essays, though I feel that I was really vague on a few of the prompts. I was expecting a 3, but a 4’s good.
