yes, i was so annoyed by that. for one thing that questionnaire is racist. and they never give people enough options to enter accurate information anyway. for example, if you are part caribou, there is never a category for that because they say all caribous are extinct. whatever man. bogus. and aren’t we all from Africa anyway? next year they will ask for DNA samples. just wait. by the way, i thought that they didn’t use that info for admissions anymore and just used it later to remind ourselves that all the admits to CAL are asians because they do their homework dude. haha
anyway, i think they banned affirmative action in the state of California. but maybe someone else can chime in. actually, some say that the “holistic” review is about getting around that. but i don’t know about that either. asian women are the majority in SF, so it does make sense that asian women are getting into CAL with high percentage rates. and yes, they do their homework (hehe).</p>
