Environmental and government are my two 8% exams, and environ is the one I absolutely NEED to get a 5!!! Then I’d be just embarrassed if I don’t get a 5 on gov’t.

BTW: it totally depends on the exam, and certain exams are more commonly taken by students which generally leads to a smaller percentage of 5’s both because of class sizes and people taking the exams that aren’t prepared.

but then how does collegeboard determine how many people get a 5? this is insane.

Do we need our AP number to get our scores or can we get them using an SSN instead?

WHOOOOAAAHHH! I just realized Literature also only has 8% 5’s which is another I expect to get a 5 since my essays were AWESOME!!!

getting a 5 on that test is almost as hard as getting into an ivy  kudos

They determine how many people get each score distribution based on their standards from a few different sources. They have college professors and students weigh in/take exams as a bench mark. They also have course expectations. Then the MCQ has a constant number you need correct to do well, but FRQ, you have to do better than the person next to you in order to do well. If that makes sense. This is based off my teacher that is a grader, lead district AP teacher and was recently promoted to some national level AP position etc blah blah

SSN works too I’m pretty sure

Well, I was wait listed at Cornell and Duke… so maybe I can squeeze a 5 on the lit exam, writingchkkk. lolz

And fyi, I know that Duke is not an ivy, in case y’all were wondering.

Lol Where are you going this Fall?

Guys, I can’t wait.

As the time approaches I’m thinking I did bad…

VIRGINIA TECH!!! Can you tell I’m excited?! lol, I turned down Carnegie Mellon, UVA, and GW! hahahaha- didn’t like those schools as much

you turned down CMU and chose to go to VT? you just made your worst mistake of your life. just giving an objective evaluation here…

Oh congrats!
@whatslife, That’s why I’m watching a movie! I can’t think about the tests I took right now lol An hour and a half left!

I’m just worrying about Bio. I’m terrified by the prospects of failing that. My teacher said she thought I could pull a 4. I hope I did. I’m her Teacher’s Assistant next yr… So it’d be awkward if I failed…

It’d be awkward if I didn’t get a 4 in AP Euro

BTW, do you guys think it’s cool to major in accountacy in UIUC?

butter3/

what do you want to do in the future as your career? (e.g. wall street?)

I got a 4 on Euro last year. I was sooooo happy since I failed the first semester. Which sucked because it counted as failing two classes… European history and European literature.

Out of curiosity, where did you guys begin in history?
