2012 UCLA Transfer Decisions-Only TRICK Thread

the summer option only showed for those who was messing around with stuff earlier on… (made an email account before allowed back in january i believe, after receipt of application)

didnt necessarily mean you dont get in, but if you see it def positive indicator…

can those who did the summer session thing add classes to your planner for Fall 2013 in MyUCLA?

@malexah08 Yes, I can.

I think we all can

can anyone access the housing app?

Mine says unsure of enrollment status

@Kitty - can you believe its been a year for us already??

omg, I know right, remember how frantic we were last year. omg the tension was through the roof. are you on campus?

Can someone give me an easy guide for the summer trick or tell me where the instructinon post for the summer trick? Thank you.

@waterox: follow the instructions on the first post: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/1491157-2013-ucla-checking-status-w-ursa.html

@Kitty where did you end up going?

@bruingal That’s the URSA trick. Not the summer trick.

@waterox: yeah, but that’s what everyone is referring to. Signing up for URSA via the summer student route (stopping just short of actually registering for a summer class to avoid the $150 cancelation fee).

Where do I stop exactly? I’m at Enrollment Message.

UC students who enroll in any UCLA Summer Sessions course(s) and later withdraw (drop all courses) are responsible for a $150 nonrefundable processing fee. Students who have yet to pay this fee will be charged accordingly.

Non-UC students will be charged a registration fee once enrolled or wait-listed in a Summer Sessions class. This registration fee is partially refundable if withdrawn by certain deadlines.
Students will be charged an Instructional Enhancement Initiative (IEI) fee of $8.00 per unit for most courses.

Materials use fee may apply for some courses.
NOTE: Enrollment and refund policies for impacted courses differ from those for non-impacted courses.
Please refer to [UCLA Summer Sessions-Home Page](http://www.summer.ucla.edu) for deadlines and policy guidelines.

All fees are subject to change without notice by action of the UC Regents. Once officially registered and/or enrolled, it is your responsibility to check your BruinBill Account and pay your balance as stipulated on the UCLA Summer Sessions website. Failure to pay could result in termination of enrollment, holds on academic records, and/or collection action.

By selecting CONTINUE you understand and agree to the above terms.

Should I continue?

You press continue but do not add any classes

@Waterox: I am 99.99% sure it is okay to “continue,” but after that, get off. Do not actually “add” any classes.

So I did just that. How long do I have to wait until I can see myUCLA? right now it’s still giving error.

I think 24-hours

I got into URSA. Its letting me enroll for summer! Is that a good sign?

So im in URSA and it says thr school has not received my FAFSA. Is this bad or something that someone will see after they are admitted?
