<p>I went and visited UCLA yesterday and its a beautiful campus!! It backs right up to the Beverly Hills/ Bel Air area. I loved it, which makes me even more nervous to find out if i’ve gotten in!!!</p>
<p>After days and days of receiving an error message, because I signed up as a new student rather than a summer student, I NOW HAVE ACCESS to MyUCLA!!! I don’t know what that means but I feel better. I can also see my ucla email.</p>

<p>I was never asked to make an email and when I tried to sign up for one it says Error: its for admitted students only
but I could access MyUCLA and Im a pre-psych major as well ahh :/</p>

<p>Don’t stress, these signs are not a 100% indicator of anything. </p>
<p>For instance the bar under my name was completely white when I first checked. Now it says “Summer Sessions Student Unknown Session” and I know for a fact I did not sign up as a summer session student, so who knows what the hell is going on.</p>

<p>You just have to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in ANYTHING and have the pre reqs done to apply to med school. Bio is, of course, the most popular but med schools have been valuing diversity in majors for years now. I believe English majors have been getting accepted in droves lately. All in all, when I decided to reenter college to begin my path to becoming a doctor my mentor told me to major in something I was interested in. . . so that’s exactly what I did. I wanted to be a psychobiology major but I didn’t want to stay at my CC another year to complete the pre reqs.</p>
<p>^ You did say Psychology, right? That’s amazing that one can major in anything, just like law school. I get it, as long as you can score high enough on the MCAT. Thank you for sharing that, I think I get it now.</p>

and when I saw summer student last year I was confused at first, we all were last year. you guys are lacking. go check last years thread…you will see us all convoluted just as you were, watch the timeline we transitioned through about a week prior to April 20th last year…</p>
