2012 UCLA Transfer Decisions-Only TRICK Thread

“Financial Aid Document Tracking”

Did not submit FAFSA, though.

@ Moonlight94 and speakbraille

I didn’t sign up as new student, I picked none of the above. I thought we couldn’t sign up as new student… is it too late to change this?

speakbraille, what is your major?

@UCdrone… I think I put bizcon for UCLA

you have to choose the you are a new ucla student option and you’ll be able to access this.

@speakbraille

Followed the link posted by OpaqueApotheosis, but didn’t get a UCLA id# just the message that says to check back in late April.

May I ask you for the link, where I can create a UCLA Id#?

you can get it from the UCLA admissions decision page :

https://www.admissions.ucla.edu/Decision/Login.aspx

@speakbraille

Thanks so much, I’m so anxious that I missed the ID#

Good luck getting in a UCLA and UCSD

Is anybody able to fill out the housing? I’m getting pretty far in the application, but I’m not going to finish filling it out. Maybe, if I get to the end, it will be rejected.

@UCdrone. Yeah I can fill out the housing. I am able to get on just about all of the links on the URSA page, including the “View BruinCard Account” where it asks for your credit card information. Can anyone else do this as well??

UCDrone. I’m getting the unsure of admission status message from the housing. Darn they always send me an email because the error gets forwarded to an actual person to review from the housing department.

@Katdawg1

I can see those things as well. Guess I’ll have to check old posts to see if this means anything. I’m filling out the housing right now.

Im sort of freaking out right now…that has to be a good sign right?

@UcDrone, did you get past the page where you select if your single student housing, single graduate housing etc…

I’m pretty sure you can access the other things because that’s what summer session students require access for to pay bills.

For the financial aid document tracking, it says the same for my previous years. I think it doesn’t mean anything.

@UCDrone Also, if you click on “update email address”, does it give you a ucla email address?

@Katdawg1

I wish you asked me 5 mins ago…

URSA is currently in “View Only” mode from 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sundays to support the normal nightly student records processing. Updates to personal information, enrollment, and making payments is not allowed at this time. Students and Third Party users (if authorized) can view personal information, study list, grades, financial aid and more is available.

It did let me fill out housing, I have to pay $30 and hit submit, of course I didn’t pay.

It seems like you guys are in… Mine shows my regular email address, no UCLA.

@UCdrone I know I just got that message too! Check in the morning and let me know though!

@Kat Did you get a UCLA email address?

@ HopingtoXfer, Yeah I did. I checked the URSA website yesterday and I’m almost positive that my email address was my basic yahoo address. So it must have changed since then?
