Yes, I was able to select married housing and choose my preferences. I even requested parking and entered additional email for my family (they have to accept hosuing contract as well).

It lets me access the family housing but not the single student housing.

@Kat & @Drone , did you try the single student housing?

@ HopingToXfer

Maybe it doesn’t mean anything. Did you get any emails from UCLA? I got three, the last was from a real person and they used my name.

No emails from UCLA. No positive signs for me yet.

@HopingtoXfer

I can’t access single housing; I got the same message as you.

@HopingToXfer

I don’t think there is such a thing as a positive sign from UCLA.

Have you been accepted anywhere else?

13 more days. I read that being able to access the financial aid and viewing an award is a positive indicator.

I think there are positive indicators for acceptance to UCLA. As past “trick” threads have shown, there is a correlation between getting accepted to UCLA and seeing the financial aid tracking as well as being able to access housing. Trying not to get my hopes up too much though :

@HopingToXfer

Nope, can’t see any financial aid stuff, just the tracking. To be honest, I feel…nothing, I’m just curious UCLA is my reachy, reach school.

It seems like the family housing is accessible to anyone with an URSA account.

To clear some things up http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/1136184-official-truth-about-ucla-tricks-2011-a.html

I can’t access single housing either. And I can’t see any financial aid stuff either. It just says Financial Aid Tracking, but thats it.

I knew it! No wonder I’m numb, it doesn’t mean anything.

@Katdawg1

What’s your major?

For a second, I thought I was already rejected.

@UCdrone Im majoring in psychology. What about you?

@Katdawg1

I’m majoring in Sociology. Have you been accepted anywhere else?

Hey guys, can someone help me out? i made an URSA account and then i clicked under view financial award and is said no request financial aid document tracking …so i got “rejected” according to the theory??

@ Gio2UC

I see the same thing. I don’t think it’s a guarantee of anything.

Can’t access single housing application but can do the others. I do not see a UCLA email address when I click on Update E-mail…is anyone getting that??
