I need to hear something soon, I’m going nuts…I have an interview with Drexel on January 17th but that’s all I’ve heard so far. Has anyone here heard from Penn CAMB, or Einstein since the schools have reopened? I know a few geniuses heard before the break but I’m wondering if anyone else has heard?

@diamedic17: what other schools have you applied to?

I heard from Penn on January 2nd.

Edit: I just saw the other ones you listed, whoops!

Thanks MicroB!! Congrats on Duke! :D

Congrats Erbbie! What are you going to do about your scheduling conflict?

Thanks, bassish!

I already got in touch with the Graduate Program Admin, and he sent me the RSVP form for the second week, just like that. I’m surprised at how quickly and painlessly they rescheduled!

Nice. I’m trying to figure out how I should go about canceling an interview that I already RSVPed to.

^I’m not complaining, sorry if it sounds that way

It doesn’t sound like complaining! I would get in touch with them ASAP and let them know. Is it because of a scheduling conflict with school you like more?

Interview from Duke Molecular Genetics and Microbiology! Pumped!

@Erbbie3: Yes and no, I don’t really want to go to more than 5 interviews (because they’re supposed to be exhausting and I don’t want to miss too much of my classes), so I’m going to have to get rid of one (probably JHU) for MIT (which is a top choice for me).

@leorock

My bf is a first year student at Yale immunology. He said that all the invites have been sent out and that they only sent out 20 this year due to the large class from last year.

Did anyone apply to Brown pathobiology? hear from them?

What about Duke Molecular cancer Biology or UChicago biomedical science cluster?

does anyone know about DUKE’s acceptance rate after interviews esp for CMB or stem cell program?

Congrats erbbie3! Harvard mcb is awesome! See you at the interviews

Stanford Genetics
UC Berkeley MCB
UCSF Tetrad – Interview (Feb 1-2)
UCLA ACCESS – Interview (January 26th-whenever)

Is it safe to say that Berkeley MCB isn’t sending any more invitations? I want to move on with life

Hey guys! Any internationals here that did the UCLA pre-screening interview? Have you heard back?

Congrats slicingbike - see you at harvard interview! It’s a great program. Let me know if you have questions.

Thanks dapi! I’m already impressed about getting a response 5 minutes after emailing to switch my interview weekend. I died a little inside when I saw it originally conflicted with UCSF

@proteinfolding I hope UC Berkeley has another day of invites, but if there are several other candidates like you, I guess I can count on a rejection.

Congrats bassish101 and erbbie3! Way to go!

Thanks, hsp104!
