Just saw all this…congrats on getting in! @toofast…I didn’t hear anything today, either so I don’t know if that fin. aid thing means anything.

@freefly…where do you live? If all three of us did get in and fin. aid packages were sent out on the 12th, which is doubtful, maybe that would explain why you received an envelope today. Did you ask if the fin. aid portal thing meant anything?

2013transfer, he is located in the Mid Atlantic and I am in California

Oh in that case I doubt it meant anything given that I’m in between him and NH.

MD. Usually takes three days

I dozed off before going out and had a nightmare it wasn’t a real admissions letter…then I woke up thank God hahaha

BTW i still have one doc that says required and two that say received review in progress

so i guess the online site is basically useless at this point. And Dartmouth sent them separately I guess, my friend just got his official aid award letter without an acceptance letter too (he lives a few minutes away) but he’s staying his school. So that’s an open space. Don’t be freaked out about one before the other, then.

Last thing since I just got about 4 PMs about this.
Waitlist offers are expressed via mail, email, or phone. Generally it’s an even distribution of the three; I figure the later on in e process it is, the more likely you just get mail.

Btw dartmouth has no deposit and full tuition under 100k

Freefly…all of my docs on there say “Received and Satisfied” except for this one: “Title IV Student Account Authorization Required Jun 12, 2013”

Is this what yours had, or no? I guess it’s probably not a good sign that none of mine say “review in progress” but whatever.

All my docs say reviewed and satisfied on June 12th and I have 2 federal direct loan entrance interviews required as of June 12th. But as freely said in one of his earlier posts this online FA is all probably irrelevant now given the fact that he already got his package with outstanding materials still required online

Yeah I have outstanding stuff. They will not update your online page anymore for obvious reasons.

All your stuff will come in 2017 form (welcome to the class of 2017, etc). Three other people have gotten the same thing

"Dear ______,

Congratulations! It is with great pleasure that I inform you of your admission to Dartmouth"

Just got it today…awwww yeaaahhhhhh

Yay , now you can breathe!!! Congrats

does anyone know how the transfer process works if transferring from Dartmouth and you owe Dartmouth college loans/ Is it like with Federal Student loans where they simply defer repayment until you graduate college or will they hold the student’s grades and records hostage until the loan is repaid thus making it impossible to transfer?

speak with the financial aid office regarding their loans.
