My housing message also hasn’t changed, so yeah I’m not feeling to good about that.

I know, I’m scared too. I have felt really confident at times but I have also felt like there was no way I would get in, it’s been a roller coaster… With this housing speculation, I’m kinda feeling hopeless. I hope they release it today so I have the weekend to get over it, haha. But either way, I don’t think we should worry too much over a speculation. It could be anything. Their system is probably really complex for a housing message to really determine anything.

Ah you guys shouldn’t worry about the housing message speculation. Out of the thousands of applicants, I’m sure there are other people who get in with or without the housing message change.

@SBVett True, I try to think with that mindset too… It’s just hard to ignore since it seems to be such a strong indicator. I felt really confident too! Especially because I have UCSD email oo and because I am allowed to authorize payers for some reason. But this whole housing thing is confusing me and making me feel unsure… (/)

See, none of it adds up! If all the speculation counts, I’m the least likely to get in. I don’t have an email, I can’t authorize a payer, I don’t have a “UN” for undergraduate in the academic history site, and I have the bad housing message. I DO however have a 4.0 GPA (but not all major prereqs done), so I’m trying to think they will be nice to me. Haha. It’s hard to believe anything though until it’s official.

Sigh I guess nobody will really be satisfied until the actual decisions come out… I feel like maybe it’ll be today and next Friday. And hopefully for us, our housing message will change before next Friday! From last year’s thread, it seems like a lot of people ended up getting the housing message right before they got accepted, in late April. So I’m praying that’s the case! #hopeful hahahaha

Hey guys, I’m wondering if anyone has seen this info before.

http://www.ucop.edu/news/factsheets/2012/cccsirs_table2.pdf
http://www.ucop.edu/news/factsheets/2013/fall_2013_applications_table2.3.pdf

So, from what I see, there were about 1000 more CCC applicants last year than this year (actually probably more, since the 2013 data shows all CA transfer applicants without separating between UC-UC, CSU-UC and CCC-UC). I wonder if this means their acceptance rate will go up a little? I mean, a thousand applications is a big difference, at least in my opinion. I’d like to think I have a 50% chance, haha… Either way, around 46% is pretty good, isn’t it? I will definitely check the UCOP website after decisions are out to know their stats. If they admit more this year, then that’s better for all of us :)

Wait which one is the bad housing notification? sorry I’m not caught up :/

I think the consensus as far as speculating goes is that this is the bad housing message:

r they updating new batch now??

^^ Nope, I just logged on. No decision

Prob. next fri

Me too. I just logged in and still no decision.

@Zcarfaz: I got in with a 3.4, I got accepted about 2 weeks ago. goodluck to all of you!

Hi guys, long time lurker… I feel like every year decisions get pushed back later and later. this is so annoying! I have a 3.7 but I’m a csu → UC transfer and even though I have the housing message change, I’m really starting to doubt it as time passes on. I’ve been accepted to UCSB, however…

I’m baffled that they didn’t release a batch today an very annoyed. We should know where we are going by this time… UCLA then no batch from UCSD today. What is going on.

I just got into Davis, but when I logged into SD, there’s STILL NOTHING. =/
They will probably be released the same dates as UCB & UCLA. Womp.
