As some additional clarification, even though I only have 2/5 pre-reqs for UCLA Poli Sci, I have taken courses in each of the required fields. But, UCLA only accepts one poli sci course from UCSC as a course that’ll satisfy a pre-req and Statistics also transfers from UCSC to UCLA, so it’s only possible for me to have 2 pre-reqs for UCLA, which I hope they were understanding of!

No reports of people having done the summer trick, and not seeing their major on MYUCLA? Another false alarm, if that’s the case, then. :?

I can see my major: pre sociology

I can’t see my 2013-2014 FAFSA, BUT I can see my 2012-2013 FAFSA information! I don’t recall checking that before.

I can’t see my major on MyUCLA and no Financial Aid info up for me.

GPA 3.7
Major Polisci

It has usually been right, years in the past, It hasn’t shown for everyone though

We could all have amazing GPA’s, but I doubt we all got in when you consider UCLAs acceptance rate

Orrrr… it could be that the people who post on this thread are those likely to get in? xD
Going over past years’ decision threads, the vast majority of the posts are acceptances. Only a few post their rejections.

Just a thought. :)

^ I agree

Some people only like to share their Great News, but slink away when they don’t get what they want. When I get my rejection, I promise to let everyone know.

Can people who are able/unable to see their major post their gpa? Though gpa alone won’t get one in to UCLA, it’d be plausible that everyone who can see his/her major does get in, or at least the vast majority, if we all have decent gpa’s.

@UCDrone First off, I think you’ll get in! Haha and also, you said you could see your financial aid summary for 2012-2013; did you apply during that cycle too? I don’t see 2012-2013 financial aid; like my 2013-2014 aid, URSA tells me no financial aid summary is available.

@ bsfswisher

No, this is the first time I applied, but when I filled out FAFSA, I made sure to fill out 2012-2013 and 2013-2014.

My friend did the summer sessions thing and he cannot see his major, it still says summer sessions for him. His major is psychology and his GPA is a little below the average admitted GPA.

I did the summer session trick a while ago and I can’t see my major. It still says summer sessions. I’m an intercampus transfer from UCSB. Getting ready for that rejection :(

Stats:
Major: Economics
UC GPA: 3.95
Pre-reqs: completed

Hi everyone,
I’ve created a NEW thread for PSYCHOLOGY majors to post their GPAs/relavent statistics for UC BERKELEY TRANSFERS

<a href=“UC Berkeley 2013-14 CC Transfer - PSYCHOLOGY - Applying to College - College Confidential Forums”>UC Berkeley 2013-14 CC Transfer - PSYCHOLOGY - Applying to College - College Confidential Forums;

If you’re interested in knowing that information, feel free to stop by and post your own statistics and check out others!

*If you are a Psyc major transferring to UCB, PLEASE contribute to the thread…I want everyone who’s applied to the major (including myself) to have some peace of mind knowing where they stand because the ambiguity of the admissions process is so stressful!!
Thank you.

CANNOT see my major…
ECON here, out of state, so little hope.
GPA:4.0
Junior transfer.

@Hoping
Okay cool, just wanted to check in with another engineering major!!

Was able to see my major, but now it’s blank.
Also able to see fin aid summary in ursa
Major: Design Media Arts
GPA: 3.5

For me, I never saw my major but the banner is blank. I don’t know if maybe at one point my banner was visible and I missed it, but I never saw it. Did anyone else experience this??

@ sarah989

Nope, but I really think the blank banner is a very good sign. Just look at sumbum, he’s already in (unofficially announced), and his banner has gone blank. This is the thing that I saw when people were accepted.

CONGRATS, Sarah989

You have been officially uninvited to my UCLA 2013 Rejection Mixer!

^^ Haha don’t uninvite me just yet!! I have doubts.

Besides, I really don’t think you should be throwing a rejection mixer since you are gonna be ACCEPTED!!

@ sarah989

The stress made us all so crazy, we all bonded yesterday, LOL :)
