Hi, so I want to respond to the prompt "Tell us about a time when you changed your mind about something that mattered to you. What led to that change?"
I want to write about how I was very interested in fashion for years, and I ran a fairly popular fashion blog. However, I forced myself to give that passion up last year because I thought it was too irrelevant. Then, I recently "changed my mind" and realized it's great to have interests that are just for fun or not related to my career pursuits.
Is this idea too shallow or pointless for college admissions? I feel like it's not strong enough. Please help!

Edit: I wanted to add this more "fun" supplement because the rest of my app (classes, extracurriculars, jobs, common app essay, etc.) all make me seem pretty academic and like a typical nerd. Which I love being, I just don't want that to be the only side of me they see.
