Is anyone out there accepted to the 2014 Fall semester yet? Are there any current students out there willing to answer questions?

My son has applied but I think it is still too early to hear. I think acceptances start coming out the end of January for Early Action.

A few years back, decisions were released on the portal. Some as early as late November.
Looks like 1/21 for this year but who knows.

Sorry, Meant 2/1

For some reason the other thread isn’t working for me. My daughter just got accepted to URI for Mechanical Engineering.

Has anyone recieved their letter yet?

I have not received a letter, but some in state students have.

DD accepted today via eCampus. Applied on 12/19, regular decision, out of state.

Son received his letter and scholarship today. Applied early, but I don’t think he indicated EA. He is out of state

D received letter today! Out of State (NY)

I got my letter today with the scholarship! Applied EA and I’m out-of-state (CT).

Daughter accepted 11k scholarship .OOS (MA)

Daughter accepted Nursing 7.5K OOS (ME)

Accepted nursing 8600 OOS MA. Unfortunately, still too high when you compare to MASS state colleges. URI needs to drop the out of state tuition for Mass residents. Congrats to all.

D got letter today. OOS NJ Marketing 11K.

They do have a regional tuition for New England residents.

Accepted with a $13,500 scholarship!

Isn’t regional for certain degrees and not nursing?

The degrees listed in the New England Regional Student Program (NERSP) vary from state to state, but Nursing is not included. There are still a bunch, about 140, from Acting to Zoology.

Also got accepted with a 13.5k scholarship!

To those that have received a scholarship, was this information included in your admission letter? We got the letter today, but no mention of any merit at all, which I am really surprised at. We are OOS (CT) and SAT is 1850. I’ve looked at the whole packet and letter and don’t see anything about scholarship or merit money. This is disappointing. Is there a chance it will come separately?
