Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected (strengths/weaknesses): I think I was accepted because of my TAG and being able to fulfill the requirements of TAG. Some of my weaknesses in my application was not fulfilling major pre-reqs, but I wrote a really good Personal Statement, it was revised by 4 of my teachers and was very strong and raw.

@kkardash (and now @sbassi1994 too) - you say you found out yesterday, but did you check on Sunday or Monday? Might your decisions have been posted Sunday you just didn’t check?

Those of us still waiting are trying to figure out if they are releasing any since Sunday, or if Sunday was the last batch and we need to wait another 3ish weeks for the next batch. Thanks.

I dont know if this will help, but I got an email from UCSD saying that admission decisions are posted (not mine specifically), about an hour ago.

I just received an email saying UCSD admission decisions were posted. (I already saw my acceptance on Sunday).
Hope this helps.

@DescartesQ @JYtransfer you guys got an email saying they are up? Odd. I just checked and mine still isn’t. :/

@JN1994 I think it was just sent to the people who got their decisions. Next batch is in April still I believe.

@JN1994
To clarify, I think JYtransfer is referring to the people who already saw their acceptance. Like him, I also just got the email even though I already saw the my acceptance in the portal.

Don’t bother waiting for the email, just keep checking portal

I am getting tired of all this waiting, I want to know now!

Would you rather…
a) don’t need to wait but know you got rejected
or
b) need to wait a long time but got accepted? XD

Option B, even if it is frustrating.

I only can hope the change in housing means they are going to release more but I know that’s most likely not true

for those who’ve been admitted and plan to attend, have you submitted your housing application yet?

Does anyone know when is the second batch?

@yuer86 probably april 4-5

@xxcapital do they even send rejections in the early waves? I haven’t seen anyone post a rejection, so it seems they make you wait a long time even for disappointment

Haven’t seen any rejection posts either. I know people say that people would be too disappointed to post if they got rejected, but on this website, I think we are a sincere enough community where everyone feels comfortable with whatever he/she posts without the fear of people judging. I mean, there have been some reject posts from last years thread, and if I remember correctly, I think they weren’t posted on the early waves either, only only near the end (can’t confirm this but if someone wants to check, go right ahead). If I get rejected from a UC, I would post it on this forum just so I can contribute and help the people who want to predict admission decision results so badly.
