Man so does this mean I’m out? I’m a computer engineering major with a 3.5

It is a sign of life from those on the other side. It’s a warning, a sign, a message,…a housing message.

We don’t know whether it means acceptance. We cannot be certain that it means rejection either.

One thing we do know for certain because of this…there’s a storm a coming.

UCSD…we’re here!

Housing message trolls.

3.7 Econ!

@chaoscuber What will you do if we don’t stop posting? In a way you just contributed to the same feeling for someone else. Now someone else will see 87 notifications because of your post, and my response. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

I mean what did you seriously seek to accomplish by telling everyone to stop? Did you expect us to stop discussing recent developments in consideration of some person behind a computer screen whom we will never meet? We won’t listen.

It’s anarchy in here, madness…chaos…you should know about that considering your username my friend.

@TheUnderdog1 Obviously no one will stop, but it’s just insane how people are tripping because of a housing message.

Agree, @theunderdog1, people are going to comment because they are stressed and excited at the same time. Plus, neuroscience shows we are all hardwired to do this sort of activity. It ain’t a choice. So @chaoscuber, be happy.

If the so-called new wave of admission coming soon, so will the rejections. Lets w8 and c what will happen later today or tmr concerning these housing mesage alarm. If every one have changed info get in meanwhile those donts get rejected, we can say it is a confirmed sign.

Anyway, I’m buying everyone on the board from the last few days a round of drinks!

3.66 Econ major, the message has changed!!

Considering the circumstances, the change in housing message seems to indicate some kind of change in admission status.

At this point, no one will be rejected because its only the second batch.

So, if its not a rejection, i think it is reasonable to say that the change of housing message indicates the acceptance.

This batch system is idiotic. What is the point of holding rejections out till the end? It’s cruel. Put me out of my misery.

3.62 Computer Science, Message changed too.

my housing message states: Congratulations, you are considered to be the most impatient applicant ever

But… yeah my housing message is still the same #-o

Any hackers around?

I just wonder how sure are you guys about the 'rejection-come-last" theory? So by fay no one have got their rejection from UCSD yet?

TT4UCOSBEL // if someone is rejected before the last batch, the whole batch system wouldn’t make sense.

I don’t think anyone is sure of anything. It’s just that any kind of change creates a response and everyone is trying to stack the odds in his or her favor. I, for one, really have no idea what any of this means.

@TT4UCOSBEL I don’t think anyone has been rejected yet, which is annoying because I’d rather just be rejected now instead of live with anxiety

Not sure about that @TT4UCOSBEL. UCSB has rejected people as they have been rolling out. I believe each batch is its own unit - you’re in, you’re waitlisted, you’re out.

Ok guys I think I seriously figured out where we might find the back door. If you guys are bored, and have free time to further stress about your decisions which I assume you do given where we all are.

Google UCSD student portal. The first link should say Current Students, and the URL should be something along the lines of students.ucsd.edu

From there click the Triton Link in the left hand corner. Login.

I’ve been messing around with different links, but I have no one to compare with.

I’m sure I just started a whole other can of worms for this forum though.
