I am EXTREMELY determined to get to med school one way or another, but I’m curious to see what you guys think about my chances for a BSMD program (I’m in Nevada so I can apply to the UNR program). Thank you to all who tell me what you think!

@iGandalf if you know for sure you want to do med school then try your best to go BS/MD. It only gets harder if you go traditional route. You have great experiences but don’t forget about research as I was told the top programs like it. I’m not familiar with what a magnet school is but my DS had lower GPA and was able to get into the best BS/MD programs in the country.

You should get into multiple BS/MD programs!!!

@kkfields What does Ds mean? Also, do you know their ACT score? Thank you so much!

@iGandalf In addition, depending on your BS/MD program preferences, you may have to redo your ACT. GPA looks fantastic.

Ds = Dear Son on here.

Good luck!
