AP results are coming in a couple days !! What exams did you guys take / what scores are you most nervous about?
I took (prediction):
AP Chemistry - (4)
AP US History - (4/5, not sure which)
AP English Lang - (5)
AP Comp Sci A - (5)
CSA and Lang were pretty straightforward I thought, I wouldn’t even be surprised if I got a perfect score on CSA although that is very rare. US History was also straightforward but I didn’t study much for it, so the multiple choice kinda got me while the free response section was actually fairly easy. I’m a fairly science-oriented student, so if I had any other teacher than the one I had I definitely would’ve gotten a 5, but my teacher was pretty bad, out constantly and then got fired for some weird reasons like a month before the exam, so we had literally no review on top of the nothing we had already learned so I had been self studying the entire year. After seeing some draft answers for the FRQs I realize I killed them but I didn’t feel confident about the multiple choice so I’m assuming I got a 4. All 5s would be nice but I don’t think I got it.
(after US I started to talk about Chem if you couldn’t tell, lol)
I took physics 1, gov, lang, and calc ab, and physics 1 was the hardest by far
Predictions from my kid:
Physics C - E&M 3, Mechanics 4 - by far the most difficult class he took in HS
Lit - 4 with an outside shot at 5 - the class was very difficult though. This is the most important one for him since getting a 5 will let him skip out of a class.
CS A - easy 5, a lot of the programming material was like from junior high
Psychology - 5 though it was a lot of writing in the class
Stats - 5, small chance of 4 - class was very time consuming, lots of homework
US Govt - easy 5
MacroEcon (self study) - probably a 3, hopefully not a 2, didn’t study much. Macro and Micro Econ was taken in the second semester as an Honors class. Macro didn’t even start until April, after he had already gotten his acceptances…
MicroEcon (self study) - probably a 3, maybe a 4
Previous tests from the last 2 years:
Bio - 4
USH - 4
Calc BC - 5
English Language - 5
Chem - 5
Predictions:
APUSH: 5 (score calculator says by like ONE point… yike)
Lang: 4
Chem: 5
Physics 1: 4
Past tests:
Bio: 5
APHG: 5
I took AP Chem, easy 5.
I only took AP World this year, and I am expecting a 4. I would really like a 5, but honestly, I feel like it is too good to be true. I’ll update you guys on this later if I remember.
Good luck to all of you!
Have a good day!
I only took AP Lit and I’m guessing probably a 4.
Predictions:
AP Psych = 4/5 (really hoping for a 5)
AP Stats = 4
I only took AP World History.
My score prediction is a 3 but I need a 4 to get credit at the school that I want.
I only took AP Human Geo
I would guess a 5 (based on the score calculator) but I know I completely messed up one FRQ…
I took 6 tests this year: AP Psych, AP English Language, AP European History, AP Human Geo, AP Environmental Science, and AP US Gov. Due to me being out of town for debate regionals, I had to take all the tests except Psych and Lang as make-ups. Here’s my predictions:
Psych- felt strong on FRQs, but MC was tougher than my practice tests. 4 or 5.
Lang- MC was pretty good. I felt great about my synthesis essay, bad about my analysis essay, and fine about my argument essay. 4 or 5 again.
Euro- MC was really hard! But the FRQs were easier than I’d expected. 4.
Human Geo- I thought this was going to be one of my easy exams but honestly felt like I bombed it. MC were surprisingly difficult, and FRQs weren’t a breeze either. 3.
APES- Also surprisingly tough. MC were challenging, and one of my FRQs was super vague because I didn’t have a lot of knowledge about the topic. 3.
US Gov- Surprisingly easy. I breezed through the MC and only had like 3 questions that I wanted to go back and check. Even those questions were pretty easy for me to narrow down after I thought about them for a couple minutes. One FRQ I didn’t know a court case referenced, but other than that FRQs were good too. 5.
On a side note, does anyone know if make-up test scores come out at the same time as regular testing scores?
Predictions:
-
European History: 4
I honestly think that I bombed the multiple-choice, but I dominated the responses. -
Psychology: 4 or 5
I’m on the fence for which I’ll get. There’s no way I got below a 4.
I’m estimating the following:
Art History: 4
Chemistry: 3
Macroeconomics: 3
US Government: 4
English Literature: 4
Previous scores:
Biology: 5
English Language: 4
Psychology: 5
+36 credits through 12 dual enrollment classes
I already graduated last month, so I’d like to think that I’m indifferent, but I am already pretty shook to say the least, tbh. My teachers are gonna be pissed if I didn’t meet their expectations since they have to send in predicted scores for every student and it doesn’t look good for them if they are better than what we actually got.
(also now that I am out of my school, which strongly favors AP and other programs, I prefer dual enrollment; I honestly wish I did it full time instead of any of these classes, but you never know who reads here so shhh)
@r2v2018 I prefer dual enrollment too. Your credits are guaranteed if you pass.
Not necessarily. The may be guaranteed at the in-state public university, But credit is less likely at an OOS public, and are exponentially smaller at a private. One needs to do due diligence.
@awesomepolyglot What’s the score calculator for APUSH?
It’s predicted, because this is the first year with a new scoring system, but it’s pretty easy to find one from Google. I think I used Albert.io and some other one and got the same score, so IDK.
Albert.io and appass are good sites for score predictors
