@Rollercoasterkid2000
It sounds like you have several options to consider, and that’s a good problem to have. I would wait until the cut off date if you are waiting to hear from other schools. I agree with needing a break in the summer so unless UCF was your top choice I think I’d start somewhere else in the Fall. Good luck and keep us informed.
@danif99 I didn’t know that. Thanks for informing me!
@djh1220 Yeah, I’ll probably wait until the cutoff date to decide and I could always transfer to UCF later. Thanks and I’ll keep everyone informed!
@Rollercoasterkid2000 are you sure I thought all decisions are May 1?
@GatormarriedNole That’s the application deadline/deposit deadline. UCF uses rolling decisions
@Rollercoasterkid2000 wait I’m confused. You were waitlisted and then got a decision in a few days? I thought final decisions for waitlisted people are from May 1- May 31. Did you have someone send a recommendation letter to you? Or did you call the school and showed them your interest?
*for you
@Rollercoasterkid2000 wait are you saying everyone has different deposit dates? Even though all other schools are May 1? I’m lost
@GatormarriedNole - I think @Rollercoasterkid2000 was wait listed for Fall and then accepted for Summer and they have to accept the Summer admit by April. Deposit date for Fall is May 1.
I think she applied for the Fall term and was waitlisted for Fall and then they deferred her for the Summer term. My guess is that she didn’t quite make the cut for Fall but had goid enough stats for Summer.
My daughter applied for Summer and was deferred and then waitlisted. She was told she would not get a decision until May 1st-31st. So maybe my daughter is bordering whereas Rollercoasterkid2000 had higher test scores/Gpa and was given admission right away
@architectkid I’m really not sure when final decisions come out for waitlisted applicants. Yeah, I was waitlisted and then asked on my portal if I wanted to be on the waitlist or not. I accepted the waitlist offer then about 3 days later they offered me admission for the summer term. I didn’t send any letters of recommendations
@GatormarriedNole I’m really not sure but the deposit deadline for the summer term is May 1st.
@Rollercoasterkid2000 did they call you? or they offered you summer term in the myUCF app status thing?
@Rollercoasterkid2000 I’m just wondering how the process went for you when they offered you Summer term. I feel like my stats aren’t as good enough to even get into Summer. I originally applied for Fall, but later on got waitlisted.
@architectkid It was on my application status on myUCF
How do you pay the $200 enrollment fee? I been looking and can’t find it on My.ucf? Thanks
@DarkFlameCorn Go to Undergraduate Admission Status. Click Accept and it’ll prompt you to pay the enrollment fee.
