It’s been a nerve-racking week for me as well. Heard back from NEU, BC, and hopefully ND. I’ll be sure to include you all into my “please let me get into ND” part of my prayer haha.
Get up early if you want your decision. As I’ve been saying, I think they are going to release early tomorrow because that will stagger the onslaught to the computers and avoid possible catastrophe if people can’t get through. It just makes sense to me. If Notre Dame is nothing else, they are careful. A natural way to control the volume is to release the results very early in the morning while the east coast is leaving for school, the midwest/central is just waking up, and the west coast is still sleeping, that way all time zones try to access the portal at different times over several hours. I bet we all know by our breakfast.

@collegefan6 I won’t be getting sleep either, mainly because I have an essay due tomorrow that needs some serious revisions. I’m not sure how I would feel about it being in the morning. On the one hand, if I got in, I could wear all the ND gear I own before Spring Break starts. On the other hand, getting denied and then going to school would suck…a ton. That’s the only reason I feel like they might not do it in the morning, but anything is possible I suppose.
Really glad I don’t have school tomorrow because I’ll be crying whether or not I get in hahahaha. But thanks @collegefan6 for the tip I definitely won’t be able to sleep tonight at all.
Do they send anything via physical mail?
Like, I know we’ll find out via the portal, but do they send anything to accepted students (t-shirt, poster, brochure, something?)?

If they follow what they have done in the past, the mailing will be a folder type thing saying “Welcome Home” with a copy of the acceptance letter tucked in the front. The folder, I seem to remember, contains info about the campus, visiting, etc.
Already emailed my school that I’m going to take a day off. Can’t handle all the emotion tomorrow.
What if it’s not tomorrow://
I’m pretty sure that I’ll be rejected. At the time I open the official denial letter, everything is over, my dream is over. I will probably don’t know what to do.
The last two years they have been released on the third Friday of March, which is tomorrow, so that is my guess!
@Fiona1997 I know how you feel, but it helps to remember that God has a plan and that whatever happens will happen for a reason. Keep some hope, and also realize that no matter what college you choose, it will all work out well and it is not as big of a deal as we sometimes make it seem to be in our heads
