What is the purpose of this torture? Why not just announce when the decisions will be released and put us out of our misery? They are killing me and giving me an ulcer!
It is likely they don’t know themselves because they are making decision until the last minute
They’ve had their decisions made for a bit now
My counselor called for REA and they said they wouldn’t say when they were releasing decisions because they didn’t want to let anyone down if the portal didn’t work. This is the first year they’ve used it so they’re trying to play it safe
Philippians 4:6 says: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. ----I am really, really trying not to be anxious, nervous or impatient…but it sure is difficult!! Doing a lot of praying today…praying to not only get in…but praying that I am supposed to go to the University that God wants me to go! :-SS :-/
How much notice was given to EA about release?
No notice was given to EA other then being told it would be mid December. It ended up being December 14th which was pretty close to what prior years notices were mailed per prior threads in College Confidential
@Taylor_16 Do you have some inside knowledge? I do not. Merely guessing they come up with a range of dates initially and if done before the last date they publish but sometimes it may take them to the last day in the range…any comments?
@PickyParent Generally what happens is they make their decisions early to mid March and the next week or two is spent figuring out how to notify students. In years past it’s been organizing the snail mail and this year it’s been perfecting the portal
