2022-2023 USC Transfer

I got it around 1:30 pacific time.

I am on the semester system. I have all my grades back so I just submitted them through the portal as soon as possible.

Also Iā€™m applying to be a economics/mathematics major and I took calc 2 this semester, so Iā€™m thinking that they maybe wanted to see that grade since my GPA has always been pretty consistent. At least thats what Iā€™m choosing to tell myself so I donā€™t go crazy worrying about it

Admitted at around 3 pt? Havenā€™t received any email. Just checked the portal randomly and got in. Good luck yall!

Got in but for spring.

Iā€™m transferring in as a junior and saw that Iā€™m required to take 64 units at USC and can only transfer in 64. Is it somehow possible for me to work around it and graduate on time?

maybe try to appeal ur credits? i saw somewhere that if u send them the syllabus from ur classes they may make some exceptions

Scroll all the way down on the acceptance and you will see your major listed.

Didnā€™t get in

Just with summer classes or Maymester with heavier semester load.

Maymester is a good suggestion as it is actually covered with financial aid (assuming you are in need of FA). Summer classes is also a way to make it happen, but my gosh is it expensive. You are paying the per unit cost. In my day, it was somewhere around $1400 per unit and now it is just over $2000 per unit. As a spring admit though (and again, if you are getting need-based FA), you can likely make use of a summer Pell Grant (or Cal Grant if thatā€™s something you get). However, it would probably only pay for 1 class or so. Summer is expensive and financial aid is next to nonexistent. You can make it happen, but just keep in mind that it might be costly.
