I'm kinda dissapointed with my scores...are these good enough to get into college? Also, is this good enough to become a National Merit Finalist.

"are these good enough to get into college?"

No you're going to be your local garbage man. Of course it's good; hell it's better than mine and since I'm the model to everyone in the world it's fine.

well if you look at it the way most colleges will, you got a 1510/1600. That score will not keep you out of any school. ;)

My score is 2190. My scores are simply more balanced than yours.

750 CR, 740 M, 700 W.

But, you have a 800 on CR. Under the old system, your score would have been twenty points higher than mine.

You qualify for National Merit with your PSAT scores, not your SAT scores. Cutoff lines vary by state. If you did that well on the PSAT, then you would easily have qualified in my state, and in fact I think you'd qualify in pretty much every state.

Obviously, they aren't perfect scores, but they're fine - not only good enough to get into college, but to make yourself competitive for top colleges.

Yeah, I guess that was kind of a dumb question. But to advance to finalist standing for teh National Merit, dont you have to submit your SAT scores as well?
