I was wondering what I need to take into account when im deciding which scores to send. Ive read on other websites that sending both will show me as well rounded, although I only got a 30 on the science ACT. Would there be any drawbacks to sending both? Any other thoughts on what I should do?
34 ACT is roughly equivalent to a score 100 points higher than your current SAT score so I would just send that instead.
No reason to send both as it costs more money, and it is adding something that won’t help with your application as you already have an excellent test score to show.
I would only send the ACT score, unless that college has a specific policy requiring all test scores to be reported.
UPDATE: i now have a 2250 superscore sat and 34 act (taken once). I could probly get to a 36 superscore on act (only need a 35 on science), but if i stay at 34, what are yall’s thoughts?
I’d stop obsessing about scores and move on. The science ACT subscore is meaningless os I would not spend a whole lot of time trying to improve it. I’d send both.
There are many conversion charts online that you can look at to determine what to send. Just google SAT ACT Conversion
