2190: Enough?

I'm an international who's got a 2190 on the SAT I, and plan to apply to Stanford through EASC. Does this seem a rather low figure on the surface? Academic, extracurricular etc are very very strong, though I fear I could lose out here (even though the 2008 class SAT midpoint was 1460, which is a 2190 if directly converted)

Any opinions?

don't worry so much about scores; stanford cares about them, but it will not break or make it for you. I believe it has a very holistic approach to evaluating and scoring each applicant.

The score won't kill your chances, but it's not boosting them either. Provided your other stats (GPA, APs, etc) are good and your ECs are great I'd say you're fine. The ways of adcoms are mysterious, but it's generally held that stats serve to qualify you and it's the essays, ecs and other intangibles that make the deal.

BTW, astaticsoliloquy, why have you taken the name of a well known poster and added an a in front of it? It's annoying and a bit suspect.

Thanks for the feedback folks.

oh i got banned from the other one sn, so this is my back up one for now. still the "well known" poster.

now i'm back and i promise to be more nice this time to people like baba.

Ah, I see. I've been on forums where trolls like to use names very similar to long-time (well known) posters and I thought it might be something like that. Of course, I've never seen a troll use the word holistic before, so perhaps that should have been a tip off.

Dude, people gotta chill out about their SAT scores. Its getting annoying.
