@carpenter not much. its just more perfects to show how great at testing you are. i’m not great at testing, so my scores arent great, but i’m an engaging person to talk to.

@carpenter: which is a sign that you work hard at school, so it is definitely great. But its greatness is restricted in the context of test score.

Obvious ■■■■■ is obvious.

try community college

I actually asked a pretty similar question a couple of hours ago before seeing that this had already been posted (fail). Well I think anybody that says SAT II’s are just necessary scores for the application and are generally unimportant are just naive. I know people from my schools with absolutely no clue that hundreds of incredible applicants get rejected every year, and insist on applying with 6xx scores. Me personally, I think 2350 should do.

Despite the fact that I took 5 SAT subject tests (all 800s), I think taking more than 3 subject tests is fairly redundant if you’ve already got a lot of AP scores of 5. So to answer your question, it would mainly be to show that you’re good at diverse tests, but if you already have diverse APs the extra SAT subject tests are just telling them the same thing, so they don’t matter much.

OP, a little condescending are we? Telling someone that they don’t comprehend " how hard it is to get into Harvard" won’t get you many friends. You know that your scores are good. It seems as though you’re just posting to boast a bit. * Obvious ■■■■■ is obvious*

Hmm I see your point. I only have 5 APs…but they are fairly diverse.

I never said that I scored a 2350. It’s a hypothetical situation. I actually haven’t yet. That is a goal of mine. Take what I am saying in the context of my only having taken one AP exam. It’s not a stupid question for my scenario. When you dismiss it as a stupid question, I am left to defend myself, stating things like “I don’t think you understand how hard it is to get into Harvard.” I’m not insulting anyone, I am making the point that my question is not stupid in context.

Metrical: Your diction is unamusing, and your conclusion is inaccurate. Clearly you didn’t read the whole thread, now did you?

Why would I want the approval of people on the internet? Outside of instructional and/or constructive conversation, I don’t care about your personal commentary.
